At meetings for the next two days...thank God for wireless internet being free or I'd go insane. Look forward to spending alot of time reading (since I'm not at home I have nothing better to do) and being on the boards doing some more reading....it's getting late...look forward to visiting with you tomorrow!

Like trackrebel, it is another cool day here too. I keep checking my calendar thinking I must have the wrong month! We want to get in some more camping this summer and hopping we actually get to complain about the heat.

Another beautiful one here in Raleigh at this hour where we stand at a Wonderfully Walkable 70 degrees.
The predicted high has been backed off from 96 to 91 and the rain forecast for Thursday, Friday and Saturday has also become less likely.
(I can get to that 2 weeks overgrown lawn!)

Well Holiday, after missing our meeting at the Shispering Pines for 2 weeks in a row, I can't wait to head there today, eat some of Carl's Fired Twinkies and have some of that sweet southern tea the 'Pines is famous for.
Then a nice Mauradio Sugar Cookie to top off a lovely afternoon.

We're heading out on vacation in the morning, too. Going up into Crown's area...well, the same state anyways. We going to spend a week in the Smoky Mountains. I swear, if my whole family would go, I'd move there.

My daughter Jade is now starting to get into the countdown. A couple times a week she asks me how many more days til Christmas and how many more days til she can put up her tree in her room! LOL! The kids have been watching a lot of Christmas movies lately. Looks like we will be baking cookies this weekend and watching more christmas movies. May have to bring out the popcorn maker too. LOL!

The weekend is almost here! That means Hobby Lobby and the Hallmark ornament premiere!
Yes it will be however she still has a few years left before she can join this site considering she will be 8 in Oct. She does take after me when it comes to Christmas. LOL!
