Ahh...so the count continues!

I've got a big weekend coming up! My precious baby girl turns 2 years old tomorrow!!! It is unbelievable to me that time has really gone that fast. She is so amazing!

So tomorrow, I'll be baking a cake and getting presents wrapped and the like. We are also going to go, I'm pretty sure to the Christmas Carol Train Tour tomorrow at some point. August is when I usually 100% kick off my Christmas preparation, so, this seems like the perfect way to do it! I'm praying there aren't super long lines. The above mentioned 2 year old doesn't do well with standing still - surprise, surprise!

Sunday is the party - just family and a few very close friends. Nothing big!

I'm ready for the first hit of cool air that usually comes in mid to late September. For me that is when my mood always lifts. Autumn through mid January is my favorite time of year.
 
Good morning!! It's a beautiful day again in Ohio!!! TGIF!!! :) I have the cartoon network Christmas In July on today here in the office. Got a couple strange looks from my bosses, but that's ok. When I explained why I had Cartoon Network on, they were like "oh, ok!" Hee hee!

We watched the cutest movie last night - New In Town - with Renee Zelwegger, & Harry Connick Jr. My hubby set up the big screen/projector on my parents deck & 2 sisters, 4 nieces, Mom, sil, me, hubby, brother, & a couple nephews (yes, the boys invaded our girls movie night!!!!) watched it. We thought it was going to be a chick flick, but it wasn't! They guys laughed & laughed too! Funny movie!! I would definately buy this one! Most of it is set in Minnesota in the winter, part of it is at Christmas time - I would consider it a Christmas movie (or a movie to watch around the holidays) In the movie Renee Z. gets moved from Miami to a small town in Minnesota with her job. Great movie!!

Well....I would say it's a great Friday...but things have been so crazy here at work today that it might be 6 or 7 before I get out of here tonight...so much for sitting at the house and hanging out with my wife and dogs...so much for going to the vet and yardwork too....

OH WELL....i've got work...i've got air in my lungs....a house...a family....food...and my car is paid off....I guess i should be happy....here's to life's blessings!​
 
It is cold enough for me to legitimately be sitting here in a fuzzy winter jumper. This pleases me. :-D

I wish it was that cold here. I can live with 81 but I would prefer 18.
 
Well i have been sitting around waiting on the cable man again this morning. This is the fifth time that they have been out to my building and still have not fixed it. This one replaced something on the line and said that he would come back tommorrow and see if it fixed it. Ten minutes after he left I had twenty channels go out. I guess we will see if he fixes it tommorrow. Well I Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
 
I so very very very much want a mince pie right now. One of the ones with icing instead of pastry on the top from Tesco...
 
I have fingernails again

every summer when I do not have to drive the wheelchair bus, my fingernails grow nice and long again. No buckles and straps to break them on. It is actually rather strange feeling to have them all long at the same time. cheesy
