I wish it were a little chilly here! I thought it was supposed to be cooler yesterday, but it was hotter than ever. I went outside at 10:00 pm last night and was sweating. Whew.

Well, Nancy has planned a lot of yard work for me today, and, apparently, I'm not allowed to even complain about it. I have to be happy to do the yard work in the middle of August. Grrrr.

Good Morning all..... well time has gotten away from me this morning. Have been up for several hours getting ready for a cookout this afternoon. Our son turned 3 the other day so we are having cookout/birthday party today. Got to run to the store to get the cake, ice and soda still..... Thank good we still have a fwe hours before the guests start arriving....

gettin ready to leave the house again.....The kids (Kandice and my two godchildren Sarah and Kimberly), my mom, Jones and I are going to a little neighbourhood fest called "The Lampionfest".....when it´s dark we will do a little lantern parade....all the kids will walk through the neighbourhood with lit-up lanterns in their hands and sing the classical songs for an occasion like that...looking forward to that

What a great day I've been having - found out my niece is getting married. So happy for her and her fiancee!!!! I slept in - the key part of that phrase is I slept - it poured out and I slept sound through most of it - Yay!!!!!

We are back since 3 hours now. It was fun....The parade stopped twice and all the kids that had lanterns got 4 items...one small bag of popcorn, a small sponge bob mug filled with gummi bears, some other candy and some type of water pistol in form of a fire estinquisher...no need to say the kids were beamin when they got the presents!

hope everyone's having a nice weekend. i went to the theatre last night to watch my darling young cousin (my blue eyed boy who adores christmas as much as me) in his debut theatre production. he was AMAZING and i couldn't be prouder.

so You two share two passions....Christmas and acting....how great!!!

i'm great tanja! just complaining of a sore back because of my HUGE pregnancy bump!!! i'm only 5'2 so it's really taking it out of me.

we have a lot in common me and my younger cousin, we have a great bond, he's a wonderful kid with alot of talent.

I have the same thing with my garden. The tomatoes should be ripe and already being enjoyed and while I have plenty of them, they are just not ripening. Not enough warm sunshine.

I am having the same problem. I have about 40 tomatoes on my 8 plants but none of then are ripening yet. We have had a wet and cool summer so far but with temps in the 90's for a few days here I am hopeing that it kicks the plants in to gear.

Friday! Woo. Finaly. I have been waiting since monday hah. Its supposed to be VERY hot and humid this weekend. Thunderstorms and rain too. So I will be staying inside. Saturday my Wife and I will be seeing the new harry potter movie (yes I know I said that we were seeing that last weekend but plans fell through lol). Yesterday we went out to dinner to celebrate that August 4th was our 2 year anniversary of being married! 2 years and I still love her more and more each day. My Wife has also been hinting (more like telling me haha) what she would like for Christmas! We have Christmas gifts for our Son William put away in our closit. He is getting his first teeth slowly coming in so he is cranky! lol Have a great friday all, hopefully I can listen to my merry christmas radio tonight...I hope I get some music on there because everytime I tune in its the interviews lol

Well things have finally settled down around here. I went to my sisters yesterday morning and my niece cried and cried and wanted to come home with me. Me being the nice uncle that I am agreed to it. I love her to death but I don't get anything done when she is here. She spent the night and then my sister and my youngest niece came in today and spent all day here because my brother in law went to a concert with his brother. Having a 4 year old and a 15 month old here all day with it being 92 and humid led to quite a mess being created inside my apartment. I just got done cleaning it up and now I am thinking about going to bed early and trying to get a good nights sleep. Hope everyone has a GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!

good morning!

It is finally going to be a hot one today. I'll let you know if it actually happens.

My great niece is being dedicated this morning, so I will be picking up my mom and heading off to Woodstock. Then I have to get back here by 1:30 as my daughter and I have tickets to see "A Mid Summer Nights Dream" at the Festival Theater this afternoon.
After that I can cool my heels and do nothing.
