Welcome back Crown....glad you had a nice trip.....Had a wicked storm roll through last night. Extremely high winds. Knocked down a bunch of branches in our neighborhood and blew over the recyclable cans.

Got to watch FOOTBALL last night. It was only a preseason game but still.....it was FOOTBALL!!!!

The Dog days of August are upon us. Can not wait for Fall......

Not quite Starbicks, but not bad! Sorry it's so blurry. I took it with my phone in Hobby Lobby Saturday afternoon. They now have 6 aisles of Christmas stuff, and when you walk in there are Christmas trees everywhere! (BTW, it's an ornament I held up in front of my phone.)

I knew I liked that place for a reason!

Good Monday Morning everyone,

A busy weekend kept me away from the internet for both Saturday and Sunday. Still, great work on the countdown, Minta! Your dedication is appreciated. Also, I am glad to hear that your trip went well, Crown. It's been a while since I have camped in a State Park and I entirely miss it. They are always beautiful and provide excellent memories, espeically when with family.

It's incredibly humid in Ottawa. We're already at 34 C with the humidex. That's around 95 degrees! This weather hasn't come for quite a while, so I am not complaining. Chances of thunderstorms today, but I am hoping that they hold off so my game this evening isn't cancelled. Enjoy your Monday and here's hoping the work week moves fast. 95 days. Wow!

Well not much going on today. It is not as hot outside but it is still humid. The plan for today is to watch the nascar race that got rained out yesterday. While I am watching the race I will do some paperwork for work. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Hello, everyone! Today is extremely hot and humid, but not as bad as yesterday was. There are potential thunderstorms this afternoon and later this evening - should make for an interesting evening at the Great Lakes Loons game tonight. It is bobblehead give-away night

Hope this finds everyone doing well!!! Today has been busy busy busy busy busy busy busy....and busy! School meetings all day....school meetings tonight (board meeting)....then meetings tomorrow...then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday....

wow....is all i can say....i was so glad to get home at 830 tonight after getting into the office at 645 this morning.....LONG DAY.....i was very happy to be able to come home and drink that good ol cup of coffee and now I am laying in bed and relaxing for about 5 more minutes and then off to sleep....Brad...that was one cool pic...

Yet another calm and sunny day outside here in Raleigh but we are already up to 80 degrees.
It hit 99 yesterday and should get close to that again today.
Cooler though for tomorrow with rain in the forecast.

Under a week now to the 3/4 Milestone to the Season.

My younger niece takes her driver's license test at the end of the week and I am helping her "train".
Anyone got a suggestion for nerve calming? (Mine, not hers)
