Christmas Countdown - 2009

Today is my first day of work, 12-4!

Our problem is neighborhood cats. They are everywhere, and for some reason, my yard is the litter box. Grrrr.:-?
Good Thursday morning, everyone!
I spent the afternoon yesterday at home pressure-washing the driveway. I couldn't install the wide spray tip because the narrow spray tip was stuck in the sprayer, so it is taking FOREVER. I have to get back on it this afternoon.
My sister-in-law gave blood yesterday afternoon, then went shopping. She fainted in the mall, so she was taken by ambulance to the hospital for a bag of fluids. We got home at 10:30 pm last night from that. She's been on a health kick for a while now, taking supplements, eating grains, etc. and giving me trouble for eating steak and tater tots.
I think, when she feels better, I'll go rub it in that you can't live on roots & berries all the time. You gotta have your meat & taters sometimes!

We are already so close to the weekend! It seems like yesterday I was just busing back to Ottawa and getting into work early... I'm glad that's past! The humidex is supposed to get into the lower 80s today with a decent chance of showers. We shall see what happens. I have a team dinner this evening, so I am hoping that the rain at least stops by then. It would be nice to gather on the patio rather than inside a restaurant.
Well, only five more days until our next milestone. It's comin' fast! Have a great Thursday!

it´s 20 to 6 pm here now...and it´s so so hot....Kandice and I took a nap and now she´s watching Thomas and I tidy up our place.....man....it´s so hot

We have problems with racoons and skunks getting into our flowers and gardens at my apartment complex. There are alot of stray cats that people feed and that draws all the other animals out of the woods next to us.

Not much going on today. My neighor is having problems with his van so I told him that I would look at it with him and see if I can figure out what is wrong. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

I'm back from my first day of work. They let me go early since it was slow. I did a lot of walking and a lot of learning.
Last night was my first day back to work from my mini vacation. It's tough to go back after being on a break! Good thing I just have one more night to go this week and then the weekend again. But, I don't get a break over the weekend because on Sat. I start my first day of anatomy and physiology! I hope I can back into the swing of things with school because I've been off for a while so I need to get back in the groove again.
Well, even though I slept all day I think I'm gonna go back to bed. haha!!! Good night everybody.

hello all! Hope this finds all doing great....congrats on the job hoosier! Today wasn't as good as I would have hoped....just one thing after another and it has to do with being a newbie or "rookie" principal. Just one of those things that we must learn from...and if it doesn't kill me...it makes me stronger!

I will post a few more posts here now...because my actual aim was to have 5000 posts by Sunday...which is when I will be here for exactly one year....but it´s a far shot somehow...lol....but I will try
125 days til Christmas....sounds far...but it´s not...now in Germany a few public holidays start soon...plus I the election of our chancerl....the 20 years of the fall of "THE WALL"....my babygirl starts pre-school in about a week....my babynephew turns one year....then my bro turns 32 and then it´s Christmas season....
now I´m gettin ready for my second cup of coffee and then come back here...and then tidy up the place again....with my three year old....You tidy up now...and it´s messy 10minutes later
