Now, I'm a handy guy; I have lots of experience in electrical wiring and plumbing, but I know nothing about engines. My brother is a mechanical wizkid, and my dad was a construction genius, so we all had our areas of expertise.

Well geeze - can you guys have your next family reunion at my house? I could keep you all busy for a couple of weeks probably!

Morning all. 8:11am here! Woke up to a nice cold morning! Overcast with rain on the way but fall temps! high 60's low 70's today and on the weekend! Woo! Fall is a comin' and I cant wait. We went to Canadian Tire last night to get some paint for the window trim on the house (Needs it BAD) and they were putting up their shelving and putting out the Halloween stuff. I love looking at it. We also went to Walmart last night to get the oil changed and tires rotated on the car. They were putting up more Halloween stuff. Man I cant wait to put out my Halloween stuff. I have this one decoration thats cool. Its a skull that sits on the table and glows red. Smoke comes out of its eyes, nose and mouth. All you do is fill it with some water! I remember getting it from Walmart for 20 bucks or so. If you see one I recomend it for a fun effect on a table.

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I have a busy day at work b/c we are hosting a Princess Night. Nice how I have not done ANY prep for it! So, I am going to be scrambling and hope that I can find decent stuff still for it. I am such a procrastinator and I hate that about myself. I need to work on that for sure!

Oh well, it means that I get to spend quite a bit of time in the car today, driving from store to store and listening to my Christmas music. I am just SO ready for the season to begin. This fall-like weather is really just messing with my mind and my desire to start the whole holiday (halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas) season! Lets just get the show on the road!

Good morning, everyone!

It's a chilly 57 degrees here this mornig. High nearly reaching 70 today. Quite cool. Rain appears to be on its way for the weekend as well. Some bad news... After being told last week that I would be able to keep my job during the school year and work about 25 hours per week, I am not being kept on due to a few changes that have been made within the Health Canada hiring system. I was very excited to have a great job throughout the school year and now I am forced to look for something else. It's very disappointing. There is a chance that I could return here soon if the cards fall in my favour, but it's somewhat of a long shot. At least they're doing everything they can to make it so.

Hopefully I can find something good soon. I need the money! Anyway, I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend as we all get closer to the 100 day plateau. Only two weeks from next Wednesday. Have a great Friday and a safe and fun weekend, everyone!

A true tea connoisseur does not use what some say is tea that comes in those little bags. True tea is loose leaf, full of flavour and never bitter!

We choose used wet tea leaves as our weapon!! (and we have enough to bury you and your coffee with!)

Or we could just sit side by side, enjoy the scenery and each others company (talking about Christmas of course!) while drinking our beverage of choice! That way we would not have to waste time cleaning up the mess that will happen.

Fall is near!!! I'm so looking forward to it. Today is Friday and I am so glad that this past week is over. What a terrible week it was at work. I have another migraine coming on, I had one yesterday as well. I need to study for my 1st anatomy/physiology test tomorrow but with this headache it makes it difficult. I also have to go to the hospital here in a little bit to see my husbands gram. She's not doing so well and took a bad turn last night. She's 92 years old! She kinda looks like Sophia from the Golden Girls! Cute. But, she's not been doing too well for the past few months and now she's in the hospital again. So please say a prayer for her. Thanks.

I drive school bus and used to have another job in between until the company I worked for decided to move to another location. I have not been able to find anything else since. Still looking and I am starting to get more cake orders, although that is not anywhere close to what can be called an income. (maybe someday!)

Good Morning all!

Going to be a wet one here today.
Baking cakes for an order that is being picked up tomorrow. (cake is going to look like a big hamburger as the person I am making it for loves her burgers!)
My living room looks like I am starting my own thrift store. My daughter is putting all her packed college things in here so that when her uncle comes to move her he will not have to go up and down the stairs wasting time. (her words) Oh well, in less that two weeks she will be off to college and I will be missing her.

Well not much going on today. It is humid out and I can't wait for the rain to get here this afternoon. I need to run to the grocery then it is back home to listen to christmas music and clean my bedroom. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
