Good morning! It has been too long since I've been on here! Was a busy week/weekend last week, but I am back now!!!
Labor Day & my b-day are over & you know what that means to me??? Yep, after my b-day it's time to seriously start planning for...CHRISTMAS!!!!!! :dance:

I hope you all had a super holiday weekend! I'm going back to read what I missed...

I was excited this morning to see that tvguide has updated their search engine & you can now type in "christmas" (or holiday, etc) & all shows with Christmas in them for the next 14 days will pull up. I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of shows on in the next 14 days. Check it out:

Well my daughter is suppose to start school tomorrow but got sick yesterday and is still sick today. She does not want to miss the first day of school.

Had a very busyt weekend and looks like the weeks will be just as busy. Oh well...have a nice a day all.

You would have Nov 11, which is 2 days before the Season begins (Nov 13).

My middle kid started High School today, she we sooo nervous. My little guy started SK today and my oldest is finishng is last 2 credits this year. Wow, time flys!cheesy

I was in and out all weekend, and didn't post. I missed you all!

It was a busy weekend. Bird hunting season started Saturday. My son and I love hunting & fishing, so we hunted all afternoon Saturday and all morning Monday. A great weekend!

My wife made me go shopping yesterday afternoon for a new mattress. I don't think we need one, but when the boss speaks.....

Johnor, praying everything goes well for you and your family!

Brad....my fondest memories with my father growing up were spent hunting together....now that I don't really have time to go hunting....those times are even more special....enjoy these times....he'll be grown up before you know it!

Thanks, Ballcoach. I'll never forget all of the days hunting & fishing with my dad. I hope my kids will one day look back on their time with me and smile, too.

Good evening and good night, friends!

It appears that I have went from an early riser to a nighthawk in the posting sense in a mere two weeks. Glad everyone enjoyed their long weekend. Star, the weather in northern Ontario along the north shores of Lake Huron was absolutely fantastic as well. Such a perfect weekend to head out to the cottage. Glad that you moved your daughter in safely as well. I made that move a couple times in Kitchener a few years ago and it definitely wasn't fun.

It's nice that you had a special time with your son on the weekend, too, Brad. It's fantastic that you both like to hunt and fish. Definitely something to cherish! My father and I have always been big on playing sports together. Our bond has always been real strong since we're always surrounded by sports. Glad that your story could also create some positive reflection and smiles in remembrance.

Anyway, the countdown is doing exactly that. It's making me excited each time I wake up. One more week from tomorrow and we're in double digits! I feel as if there should be something more to say but I am quite exhausted from the traveling back to Ottawa yesterday as well as a hard workout at the gym today. It's great to be back and I can return to my regular posting hours soon. Have a great night everyone!

Good morning all... well my daughter started school today, 3rd grade! She was so excited this morning because she will get to see many of her friends again today.

RJ was a little upset. He wanted to get on the school bus and go to school with Jade. He is still a little to young for school.
