Good morning everyone! I have a semi-busy day ahead of me. Just yesterday, a lady from Consol Energy called me and said they're not hiring engineers right now, but she wants to meet me. Today. So, I gotta make sure my suit is cleaned and I need to update my resume and profile. I don't know if this is an interview, since they're not hiring, but I'm going to treat it as one.

Isn't it a little strange though? I mean, they're not hiring. Will they be hiring soon? Does she want to hire me for a non-engineering position? I'll take it, if that's the case!! I'll let you know the answer to this mystery when I find out.

We've been planning a trip to the mountains the day after Thanksgiving, but my old labrador came down with a bad case of pneumonia, and has to be given medicine twice a day, and kept still during the day. I don't know how long it'll take him to get over it, but he's been with me for 14 years, walking every step beside me. If he's not better by Thanksgiving, I'll cancel my trip and stay to help my good boy.

I hope he gets better soon, not just to salvage my trip, but because he really is such a good boy.

Here we are half way through another week, are last milestone of the year, and thanksgiving is just over a week away. Everything is starting to kick into high gear for the holiday season. I have my shopping list made out with the few last minute things I need for thanksgiving and I have also been hunting out my recipes for the dishes I am making. Today is gong to be spent cleaning and putting out the rest of my santas. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! I feel a little more prepared than I was earlier. Now I'm just sitting around waiting to get ready and leave. I went to school for civil and environmental engineering.

I've been working late these days, trying to get caught up so I can spend more time with my family during the holidays. I'm almost caught up!

We've been planning a trip to the mountains the day after Thanksgiving, but my old labrador came down with a bad case of pneumonia, and has to be given medicine twice a day, and kept still during the day. I don't know how long it'll take him to get over it, but he's been with me for 14 years, walking every step beside me. If he's not better by Thanksgiving, I'll cancel my trip and stay to help my good boy.

Hope the lab is feeling better in time for your trip.

This is a great time of year to be in the Smokies. Maggie Valley, Bryson City, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge will all be beautiful. A trip to Cataloochee to see the Elk would be fun.

Good morning, everyone!

And there goes our final milestone. What a monumentous occasion! I've greatly enjoyed counting down with everyone and it's strange to think that our next milestone day will indeed be the one we've all been waiting for - Christmas!!!!

Another beautiful day in Ottawa. I enjoyed a crisp -4C (25F) temperature on my journey to work this morning. Perfect for November!! The temperature is forecasted to reach 9C today, which is quite high. Oddly enough, the forecast is well above average until the end of November. Hopefully that changes soon.

I was able to put songs on my iPod last night! Thanks to Wenceslaus for recommending the iPod Assistant. I deleted everything iTunes related from my computer and then removed and re-installed the application. I was able to put my Christmas music on but not regular music as the problem ocurred when I tried to add it as well. No big deal. As long as I have my Christmas music, I am happy!! A walk and bus ride to work accompanied by Christmas music always makes a good morning!! I think it will improve my lunch as well.

watching soccer now....germany against the ivory coast...just a friendly game....the first game after the suicide of our national goalkeeper Robert Enke.....his jersey is laying on the team´s bench and they have a special jersey....a small film about him is being played and the opponent team is also wearing a special shirt on top of their jerseys in memory of Robert Enke....

Just climbing aboard for a quick hello! The Christmas Season rolls on! Stores, commercials, plans...All developing! And what a great way to end a lousy year!!! Christmas, at long-last!

As I look back on this year, one event stands alone...It was going to Feinsteins in NYC to see Kathryn Crosby's one woman show, "My Life With Bing". I met Mrs. Crosby, and Mary Francis, and Harry(Bing's namesake) and Nathaniel...And the end of the show was all of Bing's family, onstage, singing "White Christmas" with a video of Bing right nearby...Not a dry eye at my table...Of course I was sitting alone..What a great Christmas moment! Bing would be proud of his family, they are as friendly, and classy and approachable as one would imagine them being while watching Bing's old Christmas Specials..

Just thought I share amoment or two...
