Morning everyone! Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far 
This morning is the first to have the christmas decorations up, I tell you, it really puts you in such a positive and cheerful mood walking into your livingroom and seeing the tree standing there all decorated with the rest of the room covered in tinsel and lights. I'm totally in Christmas season mode now and there's still over a month to go to enjoy it all!

We always cut down a nice big christmas tree every year. Unfortunately, there's still over a week until this happens. I've tried talking mum into getting it earlier this year but it's always the same answer. "not until the 1st"

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 10
Good Morning, Friends.
Well, I can tell from many recent posts that our group is really starting to get into the Christmas spirit!
Decorations are going up, meals being planned, music and movies being played and gifts being sought!
(Don't you just love this time of the year?)

I did lots more roving with my camera and have many more photos for the Blossoms thread to be posted shortly.
Unfortunately, my computer runs the photo hosting sites slower and slower these days. Takes a long time to get a photo up.
OK, on the count marches:
Days to Christmas Day: 33 (Getting down close to one month, now!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 4 (Wow! Barely over half a week, now!)
Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!
And may the 2nd half of your weekend be greater than the first!

And speaking of JOY, the duty assignments are posted for Thanksgiving . . . . . and I'm not on it. I'm off from Tuesday to Friday ( Wow! ). I see a whole lot of Christmas shopping in my future. Maybe a early start to my Christmas cards. Most of my outside Christmas lights are up, so maybe just a little more just to finish up.
It's 45 degrees here (no snow). On the way home I saw one house with a lit and decorated Christmas tree in the front window. That qualifies as my first sighting (residential). I wonder if Mrs.Eagle will let me turn my lights on . . . . . I doubt it.
Grandma Eagle has been calling me. See wants her tree up NOW. And if we don't get over there pretty quick, she'll drag the tree out by herself, really ! By the way, Grandma Eagle turns 90 this January, and she's still tough as nails, and still complaining about not golfing anymore.
My youngest son Matt, is over in Afghanistan. He will be there until May. He and his wife are expecting their first baby on December 18th. I'm sure all the youngsters here know how to do the "web cam" thing, but we are still trying to work it out so he can see his baby when the time comes.
Times up for me. I've got a few things to do before I got to work.

Great morning....coffee...pancakes....looking at sunday's ads....can't wait til Wednesday! Working on my schedule of cooking....got several things I have to make....the first is starting tonight....chicken cheese soup...ummmmm!!!

10 days into the season already! Wow, time is sure flying by !!!

Put the outside lights up this week, and the Dickens Christmas Village will go up this afternoon. Tree will go up this coming Friday.

Well I am slow getting around this morning. I have been watching nascar coverage on tv and now I have the colts game on. I have to get my aunts birthday gift wrapped today and I will probally wrap some christmas gifts while I am at it. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach- It is finally over. I hope junior gets some down time and enjoys his new house that should be done any day now. They have 82 days to figure out what is wrong and fix it before daytona. I just hope that is long enough.

A little chilly here tonight....about 27! The wind is blowing and it feels much colder. We may even get some snow.. Got my tree up on Friday and daughter and I decorated it this evening. I hope to work on the outside lights tomorrow. Hope you all had a great weekend!
