I love snow. We are now getting freezing rain :\ thats not good but the trees look very nice.

I got a last-minute opportunity to go bird hunting with my father-in-law and my brother-in-law yesterday afternoon. You don't pass that up! So I took a couple of personal hours, got my son out of school 30 minutes early, and off we went. I hope someday my son looks back fondly on the times he went hunting with me, like I do about my youth hunting with my dad.

WOOHOO it's snowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have got about 2 inches so far and they are calling for 3 to 4 more. It looks so beautiful out that I just sat in front of the window with a mug of hot chocolate this morning. It sounds like the roads are getting bad though now and they have closed the interstate in a couple of places. I plan to just stay inside for awhile and then I will go out and start shoveling this afternoon. If I am lucky the maintenace crew will come and shovel before they go home and I won't have to. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dropped my daughter off in London, school starts again for her on Monday, and Wednesday she finds out if they are going on strike or not.....we are really praying not! She is doing so well, 4. grade average (which is A to A+) and it would really suck for her to have to put her studies on hold, as it would for all students who would suffer because of this.

Hi everyone! It is snowing!!! Schools closed early today because of the snow, ice, and cold. I know some of you are laughing, but we aren't prepared for this kind of weather here in Alabama.

What am I talking about? Notes to myself so I don't forget that I have more technology at my fingertips than I realized until today.

I'm admitting it in the countdown thread so I'll remember to read over things in the future.

Here it is ... Auntie nearly made a big woops. My husband wanted to get me a wireless upload gadget to use with my camera. I love taking pictures, but it's a drag to have to manually delete each one.

Guess what's awaiting me on the left side of my HP laptop? Yup. You guessed it! I have a handy dandy spot to insert my memory card so I can upload and delete images at the same time. I'm glad I didn't give my husband the go ahead to get one for me for Christmas. :-? Whew!

Hurray! Less work means more play time. :

okay..this year is flying by already!!!
Howwwever the holiday food is still haunting me..
stepped on the wretched scale today to see the crime christmas did on my behind...9 was my lucky number!! hahahaha
all the holiday goodies & junk food..= 9 pounds gained..
BUT i don't regret it at all..all the delicious food.cheesy

...now onto more wretched things..like busting my butt at the track!!

Almost 9pm the end of another busy day. I have a baby shower cake to make for Saturday, which I will bake in the morning, that way it will be fresher for my customer! Most of the decorations I already made so it will not take long to put together (will post a picture when done)

We are supposed to get some snow and ice rain tonight and it is getting cold again, -5c right now.

Brad, some of my fondest....no....my fondest memories of my youth is time being spent with my Dad hunting. He will look back on these days with and smile one day.

Heard a saying I liked one time. It went something like this, "Hunt with your son today, not for him tomorrow."

Wow, just got on here and been reading this thread for 20 minutes! I love it!

Cold as it can be here and we are getting out of school tomorrow, but my wife is off also. MOST of the time I would be overjoyed, but tonight my wife informed me since we are off that we are going to buy groceries in the morning. YAY!! But that's ok I guess. I always go help and this will give us time Saturday to have off.
