Good Morning everyone! My grandchildren will be over today. It should be fun and busy here! I keep my collection of Christmas movies out all year and they usually want to watch them when they are over. They know it's Christmas all year at G-Ma's!

Good morning friends! Supposed to warm up today and get t0 36 F. Wow! It will feel like tropical weather out! By the end of the week, it's supposed to be in the 50's!

Haha! Same here! It has been so cold here and very unusual for us. Yesterday was sunny and in the 40's. People joked about the "heat wave" we are having. cheesy

Good Morning Friends! Just wanted to pop in to say hello to everyone. I need to get lil' one up an at em' soon to get her ready for school. I also have to take my little dog to the vet this morning. He's getting "fixed" today. I pray it goes well...I worry because he's only 5lbs. But I really like this Vet. and he's always done well with our other pets. Hope everyone has a good day. I am hoping to go to Chico today if time allows it. Will have to wait and see how everything goes.

Do you have a chihuahua? I have 2 chihuahuas, one named Chico and the other named Meca. Chico is a long haired chihuahua that weighs 14 lbs! He is not overweight, he is just very big for a chi. Meca is a short haired chi that weighs 5 lbs. When I read about your 5 lb dog then glanced at "Chico" in the next sentence, I thought that was his name, lol. I hope all goes well for your dog and I'm sure it will. I know it's scary when you have to put a pet through surgery.

Warmer weather today. We are at 23 right now and we are supposed to get to 29 this afternoon. Today I need to work on getting al of my paperwork in order for work this week. I am going to go out and work the next three days I think. I also need to work on cleaning the kitchen today. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's still cold down here, too. It was 18°F. The water pipes are frozen here at work, so I have to be careful how much coffee I drink till we get it running again! It's supposed to get into the 60's by the end of the week, though. I have to say, I'm ready for some warmer weather.

Thanks for the well wishes. I got little Raisin Rain off to the vet. I get to pick him up after lunch. Raisin is a Miniature Poodle. He's about 7 months old. I will post a picture a little later.

I'm sorry for your family, Jeff. That is a terrible thing. I just had a phone conversation with my brother about the business we've operated together for years. It can't support both of us anymore, so he's going to let me run it alone. It's a weird feeling.

This economy has really put a lot of folks in a weird place. I believe in change but when one life crosses over another the consequences for sudden change become serious. My sister had responsibility for healthcare/benefits for the affected company and she has knowledge of many, many folks with tough situations they were dealing with...and now this.

It goes far beyond businesses having a tough time. It affects lives.

We can't be careful enough and folks need to be true to their families. Never have I seen a time in my life where family was more important.

I have been quite busy at home and at work my boss has been more strict on our internet time. I hope to be back on here more then the past few weeks! I hope everyone is doing well!

That's terrible...I am really sorry to hear this. I hope and pray that things will work out for them both. I seen on CNN last night that UPS is laying off 1800 workers.

My prayers go out to all of those affected. It is a tough time right now and I have had several of the accounts that I call on close. My company has lost several of it's larger clients and I think we may lose another one at the end of our next cycle. That has led them to cut down the amount they pay us for mileage and we only get about a third of the amount of time in a store that we use to. I use to get about thirty hours of overtime every five weeks and now I barely get 35 hours a week with twice as many stores.

Well Simon has offically announced that he will not be back on American Idol next year. Fox is going to carry his new show that he is bringing over from england though. It will be interesting to see if there is going to be a idol without Simon.

Well Simon has offically announced that he will not be back on American Idol next year. Fox is going to carry his new show that he is bringing over from england though. It will be interesting to see if there is going to be a idol without Simon.

Oh no!!! It will be soooo different without him. Love him or hate him, he did make the show interesting.
