You don't have any animals that can catch it? No traps?!
Yes, I have a cat. She sat looking at me wondering what all the fuss was about. Also wanted to know why in the world I thought she should go and get it!
My daughter is coming home from college this weekend to work, her cat is the one who likes to catch the mice.

well guys,

it hasn't been the nicest start to the year for my family :-?

last night my aunt (through marriage) passed away :(

a few days ago she suffered a heart attack and was not found in time, therefore she went into a coma, when she was woken to assess the extent of the damage they found she was brain dead due to lack of oxygen and her organs started to fail.

it's just so sad and so unfair. my poor, poor uncle is heartbroken, they were so happy together and it's such a shock. she was a lovely lady and will be very sadly missed.

life is so short, we have to live it to the full and count our blessings.
I'm so sorry for your family's loss, JOHNOR. :(

Hey Brad..l 70 degrees would be downright HOT and tropical.. send it up here.... brrrr....and add a cup of coffee with it!

YABBA!
I'm trying a new french roast that is wonderful! cheesy

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Another cold morning here, 26°F. They say it's going to be warm this weekend. Well, it better get started! I can't stay long this morning, lots of work to do. I had to say good morning to my friends, though!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Oh no! Go buy him a Santa hat! Hehe

You are going to laugh but I actually have 5 pet mice. I don't want the wild ones living with me though!

My daughter had a hamster for awhile when she was around 10 years old and I did not even like that, so I could not imagine having mice as pets!
But, to each his own! LOL cheesy

Good morning, everyone!!

A snowy morning here in Ottawa. Well, not that snowy, but it has been falling for a few hours and nicely adding to the amount we already had. Anyway, the snow has since stopped and the sun is starting to peak through the clouds. Two days of sun in a row is impressive! Unfortunately, freezing drizzle is in the forecast for this evening, but it will be followed by warmer temperatures for the next few days. We are supposed to be above average for at least a week and possible even above freezing for those days starting on Sunday. That's unheard of for this time of year in Ottawa. It is a little disappointing, however, as it means that the Ottawa Canal may not open for skating until another couple weeks.

Oh well! I'll enjoy the weather while I can. Only two more months of complete snow and then it should be clearing up. Lots of work to do! I should get back at it.

I was going to wait until the 12 days of Christmas were over to join the thread. Then I lost my internet and arrived even later.
I joined the forums in June of last year. If this year goes as fast as last year, Christmas time will be here before I know it.
Lent starts Feb. 17. Lent leads to Easter. Easter leads to baseball season, baseball season leads to October. Won't be long now.

That's what I do to keep busy through the year. I look forward to other things. So far following the rest of football season with the Cowboys in the playoffs, Winter Olympics and American Idol will keep me busy through May.

For everyone here: You can google, "bizarre holidays", and come up with some crazy days you can celebrate throughout the year with your family. Keep you busy before Christmas. Those are fun!

Haha! I just googled and today: January 13 is . . . . Make Your Dream Come True Day and Blame Someone Else Day.
