..I havent been on in a while, school & homework is swallowing me alive I tell you!!
 
Happy Grpundhog Day!!


Today we find out when spring will arrive!

[Of course, it really does not matter what the groundhog sees, spring will be in 46 days either way!!]
 
Well, no school again today. We just didn't get the melt we thought we would. Another day off....ah....need to work and need kids in school, but it's ok. We will make up for lost time. What really bothers me is that since we have been out of school, my internal alarm clock won't go off. I've been getting up anywhere from 515 through 545 for the past five or six days! Binger, one pot down. Crown, maybe nap time follows! Oh yea, almost forgot to mention.

DAYTIME TV IS AWFUL!!!

She said to tell you thank you!!! The worst part of it is that I was headed to best buy last night to buy a new 42 inch HD tv to watch the race and game on this weekend and I had to put that on hold until we see exactly when they schedule her surgery and if she can reopen her old claim with long term disability or if she has to start over again.

I am headed out to work here shortly. I am going to stay close to home since it is the first work day of my new cycle. They are calling for some snow showers here this morning but they don't think that any of it will stick. Hopefully I will be back on this afternoon. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
i'm back again... first time back on here since xmas and that... didnt want to let go of the season but as its feb 2nd thought i better start so only 11 months till the next one......... bring it on, roll around fast! and everyone have a good year! hope its been good so far.. mine has touch wood it will keep going this way xxxxxxxxxx

She went in this afternoon to the doctor to find out what it said and it turns out that they have to operate again. Her tendon had split in half and part of it was popping around her ankle and chiping off pieces of the bone. The repaired the tendon and secured it with wire but the wire has come undone and now the tendon is doing the same thing over again. So now the doctor wants to go back in and grind down part of her bone to hold the wire in place this time. So that means that she will be non weight bearing and in a wheel chair for 6 weeks and off of work for 3 months again this year. She has to get it approved through the insurance before they schedule it but they want to get her in as soon as possible. The good news was that the tendon on the side of her foot that they fixed last time looks really good and is healing fine.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's raining again (have I mentioned that already?). The rivers are already past flood stage in several areas, and it's supposed to rain the rest of the week. Whew! This time last year, we were in a drought.

I hope everyone has a great, dry day! cheesy

Same here, Coach. Once it takes on that dirty, tire scuffed brownish look there's no reason for it to hang around!
(But as far as schools are concerned, they are closed here for another day.)

Good Morning, my slowly thawing Friends.

Yes, the snow is melting after we reached 48 for a high yesterday with lots of sun.
We are back down to 34 at this hour so the melting has slowed. Still lots of the (not so) white stuff left, however, and it is not supposed to get as warm today.

Our count:
Days to the Season: 284
Days to Christmas Day:326
Ten days to the 25% Season Milestone and SINGLE digits as of tomorrow.
Wow!
