My niece lives in Punxsutawney Pa. in walking distance to Phil himself. I don't think she has ever attended the event though.

Good morning, everyone!!
Again, I disappear for my long weekend and the post count keeps climbing at a record pace! How impressive. I'd love to go back and read everything, but there appears to be too much and not enough time! I look forward to taking part of the conversation for the rest of the week, however.
We are so close to our next milestone! Of course, February is nearly a milestone in itself! The weather should be warming up soon. Oddly enough, while most in the south are getting hammered with snow, we have received very little in January. It is not difficult to see patches of grass throughout the city. Very strange, considering the fact that we received a record amount of snow fall last year. Well, hopefully we don't get much more so we can go outside to practice earlier than ever!

Good to hear from you Brent and Britt....Britt, you gotta come back more often! Long time, no see!
Well, did some work this morning and now I have come home to enjoy a little rest. An old friend of mine who I used to work with lost their spouse, so I'm going to visitation tonight to pay respects and show my support. Never met their spouse because they lived away from the district, but I've heard enough stories to feel like I know him. No need for sorrow, last few months were hard on him and he was very strong in his faith.
As for me, I'm so excited to be alive it's ridiculous! Great sports weekend coming up, going to get to take my wife out for her Bday this weekend, and I've been on a weekend since last Thursday. I've got a full belly (too full), pot of coffee on, and a little nap coming up. I'm blessed. Have a great day!
