Kandice and I...plus my ma are still fighting bada++ colds....would be surprised if I had a terrible bronchitis...can´t stay home to recover cos otherwise that stupid callcenter will be firing me...uh well...life´s a ..........won´t say the word on here...Life all in all ain´t all that great....but Kandice is having fun and I thank God for my friends, family and my daughter every day

We are getting ready for the snow again :-?. I have had enough! I hope everyone had a better weekend then me. My son Evan's 3rd Birthday was Saturday but his party got canceled because of the blizzard. My husband has worked 65 hours as of this morning since Friday afternoon (he plows snow). Im so ready for the Spring!

It started snowing here at 2pm. We are supposed to get up to 6 - 10 cm by tomorrow. The kids on my bus are hopping for a snow day, but I do not think we will get quite enough for that!. cheesy

I know exactly what you mean......We live in Ohio so we are getting SLAMMED with snow. It just snowed 12 inches over the weekend and now we are getting more !!!! Good thing I work at home.. It does make it feel really Christmassy though !!!!

I know exactly what you mean......We live in Ohio so we are getting SLAMMED with snow. It just snowed 12 inches over the weekend and now we are getting more !!!! Good thing I work at home.. It does make it feel really Christmassy though !!!!

:hello: You betcha! Today, I received the DIA newsletter at work and they already have the date set for the Old Fashioned Christmas Walk.

I forwarded to everyone at work letting them know how many days remained until Christmas and that they should mark their calendars now so they won't miss out on the walk. HaHa. I could feel the eyeballs rollling around for a few hours after I hit "send".

Me too! Today, at work, I switched my desktop wallpaper from a picture of O'Malley the cat to one I took last year of some young Canada Geese in a grassy field.

I really wanted to dig down through the snow to find the grass, but the ground is too hard. :-?

Wow, we really are posting a lot this year! This is so great, I love the positive, upbeat fun of this forum. I also love that people are free to share their ups and downs with everyone. Nice place to come when you need a pick me up or a hug, or just a listening ear.

We did get snow last night...but you have to kind of look for it as the wind came up and blew it away again. We are supposed to get a bit more today, but it is still windy.

Well, school's back! Bout to head in and take care of the kids. However, they are predicting more snow coming soon (on Friday). This is the first winter we had in a while. Usually, we hover right around 50 or just below and it rains all the time. That stinks! I enjoy having all the seasons.

Gotta run! Everybody have a great Monday! Wait, it's Wednesday (gosh, I love snow days)!

Good Morning everyone.... got about another 6 inches of snow last night. Hubby and I went for a short walk in the snow lastnight. It was so nice and peaceful. You could hear the snow hitting your jacket. We've got a wintery mix/light rain going on now. Suppose to change back over to all snow again later this morning with several more inches to get before this ends tonight. No school for the kids and no work for me today. Hubby had to go in though. Hoping they let him come home early today.

Sitting here enjoying my coffee and listening to some christmas music.

Going to make a pot roast for dinner later and I want to bake so I think I will flip through my cookbook to see if I can find a new receipe otherwise I will make some applesauce cake.
