Our friends went and seen it Friday and they said it wasnt what they expected and it was very very gory and not for kids.

I saw it yesterday, and really liked it. No, it's not for kids, but it was very true to the old 1941(?) movie. Lots of fun!

That's awesome Brad.

I will admit the first one scares me more. When I was a kid, I had a small black and white tv. One night I fell asleep on the floor with it pretty much right in my face. I woke up around 3am with him staring me in the face. I ain't been right since! lol

Ha! I used to try to stay up to watch the late night monster movies on Friday night, but I'd always fall asleep and leave my little brother to watch them alone.

Finally saw it. I like the tone and the atmosphere of the film. Anthony Hopkins was brilliant, as usual. Other than that it was pretty "meh".

Ultimately disappointing. Certainly worth a look on dvd for those who haven't seen it.

i know it....if it's not a remake, it's a reboot or reimagining. i think creativity has been lost in hollywood.

I'll be passing on all those.

I'm ready for big budget comic team (other than the xmen) to hit silver screen. We've been promised Avengers.....I can only hope. There is a ton of potential for that flick and many sequels. I'm sure they'll leave out Vision and Scarlett Witch.

We need a JLA movie too. One step closer with Green Lantern next year.
