Christmas Countdown - 2010

Reading about the homework....just a suggestion.....check your schools student policy handbook. In our state, schools must have a homework policy. While sometimes it is there, people aren't very aware and sometimes in the past, our school has reminded us of it.

Binger....No Child Left Behind.....talk about pressure! Our school is in School Improvement year one when I took over....and I know that if we get to three...I'm (more than likely) going to be looking for another job.

Made...shaping up to be exciting this weekend! Not going to be able to watch b/c it is sooooo nice outside, but it does come on the radio and I plan on listening to it while cleaning the truck!! Can't wait!

Friends, good morning. Didn't get to come here yesterday, but for good reason......

Ballcoach had to come out of retirement for one day to coach the team. Head coach had to something that required his attendance...and he let me do it. We won!!! 16-1!! They are a great group and they are very well coached. I'd like to think I played a little part of that, but our coaches are doing really good with these guys! It's great! Forgot how much fun it was to be out there competing!

After getting home yesterday, the wife and I went out and bought stuff we had to have. We had alot of fun and while we were out, a great friend called and asked us to go to movie. Man, it sure was a good time.

Today is going to be so good....we've got 65 degree weather and I can't wait to get outside and play! You should have seen the people who were out yesterday. It was really the first WARM day and everybody was out eating, shopping, and going to the movies to celebrate! Good to see people out and about....that period from Christmas until spring is so dreary....and this is the beginning of the end for that.....

Last thing...they put out the summer stuff at Sam's....you that stays out until........CHRISTMAS!!!!

Made...Are you starting your spring cleaning early?

I have started my spring cleaning early since mom has surgery a week from tuesday and that means that I won't be able to get my cleaning done when I would normally do it.

I hope you enjoy the nice weather!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is sunny here but the high is still going to be in the middle 40's. It looks like middle 50's the rest of the week so I will get out and enjoy it while working.

Good Luck getting the swing set finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cheesy I helped my cousin put one of the big wooden ones together last summer and it took 4 of us a day and a half to do it.

Well today is devoted to more cleaning and watching the nascar race. I plan on cleaning the windows and the carpet in the living room and dining room today. I already have the curtains and the slipcover off of the couch in the washer. I am also thinking about how to rearrange the furniture to make it easier for mom to get around after her surgery. I've decided to stop by for a rare Sunday visit!

It's a beautiful day here in Ottawa. Temperatures have already reached +8C and I can see us getting to double digits for the first time this year! The sun is shining and everyone seems to be in the spirit of Spring. We had a very nice day yesterday, too. A high of 8C as well. I was actually out walking in shorts and a t-shirt for a few minutes. It feels warm when you're used to -20C temperatures!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! A new work week is upon us tomorrow but the countdown continues as well!

Good Afternoon!

Was a busy morning for me. I made a quiche for breakfast and got my chicken into the crockpot for dinner tonight. I worked on my Christmas "stuff" and am almost done organizing. I also went through a bunch of stuff and I am planning on taking it to the thrift store. Isn't funny how some of us can accumulate so much STUFF?!?!? So I feel great getting this done! S/O and I decided to have a little picnic at the river today. We just got back a bit ago. We started a fire burned up some polish dogs and watched the river flow by. We took the dogs too. Neo Newton went into the river to about his neck I guess. He was loving it. We also brought along little Raisin Rain and also my brothers dog Bella who is a very sweet rottweiler. I must say we usually have this area to ourselves but today people were coming and going. A dad and his son on dirt bikes, some guy on his dune buggy, a few fisherman. It was nice thou and great to see people out enjoying this beautiful day!

Coach- Good come back at the end to finish 15th. Not where I hoped he would have finished but at least all of the hendrick cars had the same problem and not just him this time.

Well the carpet is cleaned and the furniture moved. I am not sure I like the furniture layout but it should make it easier for mom when she has to use the walker. Now I am going to kick back and watch home alone 2. Hope everyone has a Good Evening!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys! Just finished dinner. It turned out really good. I also decided to make a homemade baked mac and cheese to go with it. And for Dessert I made Flan. Now I am relaxing after a busy day and watching Dog the Bounty Hunter...His wifey sure is losing weight and looking really good!
