Good morning, everyone!!

To say that I had a difficult time adjusting to Daylight Savings Time would be an understatment. On Sunday, I had an unscheduled nap at 7 pm and did not wake up until 8:30 pm. Because of this, I laid in bed awake for a couple hours and only had four hours of sleep due to having to wake up at 7 AM for a fitness practice.

Mondays are always extremely busy for me... Practice, gym, class, groceries, class. There is barely any time to eat supper! I guess this explains why I missed our coveted 1/3 milestone! What a fantastic accomplishment. I can't believe it's already past! I don't believe making the Milestone Friday will be an issue although we do have a tournament just outside of Washington D.C. that weekend - but we shouldn't leave until a bit later in the day.

I'm loving this weather. No wind today and we're supposed to reach 15C today!! Unfortunately, I won't be outside long enough today to enjoy the weather but we should receive similar weather tomorrow!! Great stuff!!

Have a great day, everyone!!

Everything went great with moms surgery. The doctor said that all of the tendons he fixed last year have healed better than he thought they would and that he has the ligaments back in place. He deepend the channel in the back of the bone that holds the ligaments in place and then used kevlar anchors to hold the tendon in place this time instead of the wire that came undone last time. So hopefully everything stays in place this time and the ligaments don't start popping around the ankle again. Now we are on to 6 weeks of mom not being able to put weight on that foot at all and then probally 4 to 6 weeks of therapy.

So glad all went well! Now praying for recovery to go smoothly.

Thanks for the prayers!!!! I am hoping that everything goes smoothly this time. She fell in the bathroom 5 days after surgery last time and I think that is what caused the wire to come undone. I have put handrails up in the bathrom this time but our bathroom is just not designed to use a walker in. So I am hoping that with the handrails and the practice from last time there won't be any problems this time.

Good Afternoon!
I had a busy morning today. I had to buzz daughter out of town for her dental appointment, then I took her back to school and I went to work. Just got home and I'm tired because I didn't sleep well last night. Would love a nap but I got to go pick up d/d in about 30 min. Oh well maybe I will sleep better tonight. Hope you all are having a wonderful day. It's 65 here and beautiful out!!! Think I may just step out and enjoy it!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's supposed to be another great day, sunny & 68°. They are even saying Saturday will be sunny and 76°. WOW!

I've been having a tough time getting a replacement birth certificate. I was born on a military base in Germany, and the State Dept. doesn't make it easy to get such things.

Made, I hope your mom does well!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

hmmm conspiracy theorists say.. you were not born on a base in germany.. hmmmmmm show us the birth certificate.. yes.. show us..... hmmmmmmm

YABBA!

and I'll taje that 76 degrees... please.....

YABBA and coffee too...

Either something is wrong with my computer or our board has been silent for over 12 hours....I don't think that has happened in a long, long time....since last summer probably! Oh well, we will pick it up.

Just wanted to stop by and say hello....we are quickly approaching spring break and it looks like it is going to be rainy weather....but there is a good side to that....I will get to stay inside and do some cleaning and relax....

See everyone tonight!

Good Morning everyone! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Another busy day today, the grandchildren will be over while my daughter goes to school. We had fun yesterday making crafts. Will probably make some St. Patrick's stuff today.

Yep, I'm waking my son up early and we're going bass fishing Saturday morning! YeeHaw!

Warm day here today in Philadelphia, too! 65 degrees, yahoo!

We're off to the park in a bit... I think we'll stop and get a donut before because my poor little bugger is getting some teeth and downright grumpy. A donut can always cheer ya up, right? :)

Top 'O The Irish Morning to ye, me Bonnie Friends!
Aye! It be St Patrick's Day again.
May it be a good one for you and all of your kin!

Hey!
We are under 125 posts away from 3,000 and you know what that means.
Another opera chapter from our Ace playwright, Binger "Mr/Ms Coffee" Shakespear! (Brought to you by your local Starbucks, of course)

On with our ever-rolling count:
Days to the Season: 241
Days to Christmas Day:283
Just SINGLE DIGITS now to the 1/4 Christmas day mark, our next Milestone!

Sunny and calm here at last. No rain shows into the forseeable forecast period.
The highs should be in the 60's and low 70's. Marvelous!
We currently stand at a still nippy 40 degrees but my tired old heat pump should be able to get a nice nap for the rest of the week!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone.
Holiday, Carl and I look to see as many of you as possible at the 'Pines today!

I just made green eggs for breakfast with a drop a green food coloring. (St. Patrick's Day eggs). Suddenly the grandchildren thought those were the best eggs they ever eaten. They even asked for more and on most days they usually don't finish them! I should color them everyday.
