So by then you'll have it made? (Or is it you'll have it, Made.)?

Regardless, Good Morning, Friends.
And welcome to yet another week in our annual travel back to the Christmas Season, which draws ever nearer by the day:
Days to the Season: 222
Days to Christmas Day:264
Three weeks from tomorrow, Folks - the 200 day window to Christmas Season 2010.
And just 3 weeks from today - the 1/3 mark to Christmas Day.
Then not much over a month from now - the ONE HALF mark to the Season!
Gee!

It is a beautiful Spring morning outside here in Raleigh, where we stand at a wonderfully walkable 63 degrees.
We are headed for the 80's again this afternoon with 91 predicted for tomorrow. (Now that's getting a bit much for early April, even with low humidity!)

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you all had a nice Easter. Ours was nice and we had a really nice dinner together. I love being around my family. Although, we are not far from one another our lives tend to keep us busy and we don't always get to see one another on a regular basis. Our local Egg Hunt was rescheduled for today. I have a busy morning and afternoon so s/o will take daughter to the park later and also take little Raisin for his summer hair cut. Goodbye rag mop hello buzz cut. I think he will feel much better...or at least I hope. Anyhow....Have a great day!

Good Morning MMC !

Another beautiful day here, the last of a long weekend. Been out for a walk already. Flowers are coming up in the garden and the bunnies love it! (anyone have an idea how to stop them from munching?)

Have a fabulous day everyone!cheesy

Another busy but good week ahead for me. I am up drinking my coffee and the grandchildren will be here in a little over an hour. I might be taking them to the Children's Museum today.

I hope you all have a great Monday!

I hope you have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been one of the best Easters for me! It started out with church and my son, daughter, son-in-law and my 3 grandchildren joined us. It was an beautiful sermon. After church was over my husband, son and I went to where I work and fed all the animals (we are closed today). As we were leaving my boss handed us an envelope with some money and told us to go have an Easter lunch on him! He is the greatest boss, I just love him! I don't make a lot of money there but it's one of the best jobs I ever had. The people I work for are like family to me. We went out for lunch then came home and we have been just relaxing. I have watched King of Kings and now watching Jesus of Nazareth.

I hope you all have had a wonderful Easter too!

Glad to hear that you had a wonderful day!!!!!!!!!!

It has been a busy morning here. I had to run mom to pharmacy to get a couple of medicines refilled. Then we went to target and walmart to pick up some easter stuff that was marked down. I found a couple of things to pick up for my nieces and nephew stockings. So I have offically started my christmas shopping now. Then we had to stop by the grocery store to pick up some milk and bread. Now I am at home to rest before I start cooking dinner and getting ready to watch the NCAA championship game.

This was the best Easter I've experienced in years.

Friday was hectic with DH playing keyboard for a group in concert---get there early, stay late---but I love it when DH is truly enjoying himself. He is so stressed at work that life in general is hard for him. He was so happy Friday night. We left home at 7 a.m. for an oil change & tire rotation for the van, back home to change clothes, & on the road again. We got home at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. WAY past my bedtime!

Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt and that went okay. DH & I watched Blindside Saturday night and loved it. There aren't too many movies that both of us like.

Sunday we went to church & DH had to leave church early to go to work. DD & I went to my parents for a family Easter lunch & egg hunt. It's the first year I've had Easter lunch with my parents & siblings since I got married 16 years ago! DD & I went to a Passion Play last night that my mom was in. It was very good & even kept DD's interest. She knows the Easter story well. "Where are the angels & soldiers? They are supposed to be at the tomb. Where is the cross? I don't see a cross in here." I think that's awesome for a four-year-old. She said she learned all of that in the "Jesus movie" at daycare. She's heard the story in Sunday School, but I'd love to get a copy of that movie.

My mom is having her gallbladder removed tomorrow. Prayers and good thoughts are coveted.

I don't want to wish my life away, but bring on Memorial Day!

At our job we sell various repellents for different animals. There is one called Rid-A-Critter that puts off an odor that rabbits do not like. Just sprinkle it around where needed. Some repellents come in liquid and granulated formulas. I recommend granulated, it last longer. You do have to re-apply if it rains and of course as the smell wears off. If you do not have Rid-A-Critter brand, I am sure there are other repellents sold that work just as well.

Also, even though this sounds yucky, you can try fox urine. We sell that and I think it works better than the other repellents. You put it on cotton balls and place them around the perimeter of your flowers. They also sell the urine in granulated formula too. They think a live fox is nearby and stay away.

I hope that helps!

Glad to hear that you had a great easter and I will keep your mom in my prayers.

I will be praying for your mom.

Good monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, another Easter has passed. My son thinks he's getting too old to hunt eggs, but we talked him into one more quick hunt yesterday. It makes me miss the old days when he was still very young and loved that kind of thing. But, he's a good boy and I'm proud of the young man he's becoming.

I spent the weekend fighting off the pollen. Ugh. I've sneezed, sniffed and lost sleep all weekend. Please rain!

And my house remodel starts this week. I'm not looking forward to that, but I have my marching orders from the boss...er, Nancy,... so away we go.

I hope you all have a great day!cheesy
I bet your son secretly loved finding eggs.

I hope your allergies get better. I would be suffering real bad too if it wasn't for local honey. I can actually keep my windows open during the day and in the past that would give me the worst allergy attack. I use to have to keep them shut all the time. I am still allergic to certain animals and chemicals at work and certain foods so I am not allergy free of that but I am of the outdoor air. *twisting your arm to go get local honey* cheesy

I am dissapointed that I have to drop out of this years cake competition. Some stuff has come up and it is no longer possible to go.:-?

Oh well, there is always next year! cheesy
(Good thing I only got 2 cakes baked so far!)

I had planned to take my grandkids to the museum today but my granddaughter has a cold and thought it would be best she stays in.

They will not be coming over tomorrow so I am going to catch up on some cleaning and have some "me time!"

I hope you all had a good day!
