Good Morning!!!

Everyone in our house is getting over the stomach bug. Hubby and I had it at the beginning of the week and then the kids gots it an now my mom has it. We are just having a quite Easter at home. I am making a ham and home made mac and cheese, made an upside down pineapple cake last night and will be making a pumpkin pie in a little bit.

Managed to buy another christmas gift for the kids the other day. I think I may spend so time working in my christmas notebook later updating the gift list.

It's a perfect Easter day here; sunny, and in the mid 70's. Some of the trees have bloomed, and there are daffodils!

This one was for a lady who love to camp with her family.(also love to kayak) Killbear Provincial park near Parry Sound Ontario is their favorite spot. This cake was modeled after that park. It is campsite #50, because she is 50 today.

This has been one of the best Easters for me! It started out with church and my son, daughter, son-in-law and my 3 grandchildren joined us. It was an beautiful sermon. After church was over my husband, son and I went to where I work and fed all the animals (we are closed today). As we were leaving my boss handed us an envelope with some money and told us to go have an Easter lunch on him! He is the greatest boss, I just love him! I don't make a lot of money there but it's one of the best jobs I ever had. The people I work for are like family to me. We went out for lunch then came home and we have been just relaxing. I have watched King of Kings and now watching Jesus of Nazareth.

I hope you all have had a wonderful Easter too!

Good morning, friend! Hope this all finds you doing great! By the way, HAPPY EASTER!!! Can you guys believe we are already at Easter? Amazing!

Been two days since I had the chance to get on. My Dad come home from his job and we went to a ballgame Friday night and then yesterday I had to work, go grocery shopping, cook, and attend the family Easter get-together. So it's been pretty hectic! Today, we will just kinda do some work and relaxing. Looking forward to it.

I am home from church and it was a wonderful service. Now I have to get mom and my niece's easter baskets ready and then head to my sisters. I just talked to her and she said that my niece's are really hyper. So it should be a interesting afternoon. I will see you all this evening.

Another busy but good week ahead for me. I am up drinking my coffee and the grandchildren will be here in a little over an hour. I might be taking them to the Children's Museum today.

Good monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, another Easter has passed. My son thinks he's getting too old to hunt eggs, but we talked him into one more quick hunt yesterday. It makes me miss the old days when he was still very young and loved that kind of thing. But, he's a good boy and I'm proud of the young man he's becoming.

I spent the weekend fighting off the pollen. Ugh. I've sneezed, sniffed and lost sleep all weekend. Please rain!

And my house remodel starts this week. I'm not looking forward to that, but I have my marching orders from the boss...er, Nancy,... so away we go.
