The remodel is still going on. Hey, at least I have a kitchen sink now! Nancy wanted a cast iron sink. It's so heavy that, although I was able to move it to the kitchen, I couldn't lift it onto the counter top. Our contractor (Nancy's brother) helped me lift it yesterday, and I got the plumbing finished. Not even too many leaks! I know, it's a small victory, but I'll take it.

Glad to hear that you are making progress with the remodel and remember that it takes Small Victories to lead to a large one. cheesy

Good morning! How is it Thursday already? This week is flying!

We got a new Realtor yesterday and she is fantastic. This is our 4th agent (long story!) and we're kind of anxious to get a house to get ready for this baby so we were getting nervous. Well this lady is wonderful and took my husband out right away. And we're seeing more houses tomorrow. I am very hopeful that we'll find a house soon now!!!

Good morning MMC!

I am feeling really lazy today, partly due to the fact it is raining out. Just sitting here posting on the site listening to Christmas music. Had a pretty rough night at work last night, but the past is past and today is a new day. I know Christmas is still more than 6 months away, but it feels like it is right around the corner.

Well I am done with work for the week so today is going to be a lazy day. I need to work on cleaning my bedroom. I have a rocking chair at the end of my bed and I have a tendency to take my clothes out of the dryer, fold them, and then just sit them on the chair and never hang them up. So today I need to hang everything up and organize my closet. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone.

Well, I am at work again today. It's not too busy though. The regular data entry and phone calls to return. We had a bit of a thunderstorm less than an hour ago. The rain really pounded down hard on our sky windows. Now, the sun is out, but it looks very windy. There is the possibility of another storm this afternoon and then clear skies for the rest of the day. Not bad...!

Unfortunately, the forecast for the weekend in Toronto does not look as promising. Massive wind on both days (30-35kms) with rain on Saturday. It's not going to be very enjoyable at all.

It's so nice to see the count closing in on the halfway to the Season mark. The calendar is making me smile more and more. Thanks to everyone who wished me well on the job search. I enjoy where I am working now but am excited for full-time employment. For some reason, I have always had a difficult time finding it in Ottawa, even though I have plenty of government experience. My fingers are crossed!!

my grandfather turned 81 today so we spend the day there....and my father got to the hospital again...I am really worried about him....he had all tests done and everything...but he is just not getting much better....would be nice if you would pray for him

Well I got my cleaning done and paid all of my bills online. Now I am thinking about making some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to snack on the couple of days. I also need to go get mom a mothers day gift sometime. I have been trying to tell her that taking care of her for 6 weeks while she couldn't walk was her gift but she keeps telling me that I have to buy her something.

Good evening all!

No excitement today, a very mediocre day. Work was normal. Bad news for us Bruins fans (if there are more than myself) #2 center David Krejci done for the season with a dislocated wrist. But one more win the Bruins make the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 18 years. Go Bruins!!!
