My Bruins CHOKED! Devastating loss, thought it was going to be different this year. :x
Friday was a good day though, my older son had his appointment with the Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist, and the reason he has obstructed sleep apnea because of large tonsils and adnoids. He will be having them out in a few months. After that we went out and had lunch, and the kids were excellent for a change at a restaurant, and then went to the mall before I had to go to work.

Wow!
The first half of our journey went so fast.
Based on past experience, the 2nd half will go even faster!
(Better get some preliminary thinking started on your holiday plans, don't you think?)

Warm this morning, where we stand at 75 degrees under slightly cloudy skies.
Hot yesterday (94) but it should decline into the 80's today with a fairly good chance of rain.

Well, based on our arrival at this auspicious Milestone, I'm sure everyone will have a Sensational Saturday!

Well, thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts because everything went PERFECTLY today!!! The measurements were right down the middle, 100% normal, and the specialist said he has "no concerns" and everything is "perfect!"

AHHHHH, such relief! Great Friday!!!!

In honor of the half way to the season mark I plan to spend some time today working on my christmas notebook and I might try out a few new recipes. It is a beautiful morning so I am thinking about running to a few garage sales to see if I can find any cute christmas decorations. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was heartbroken as well. I buried my head in a pillow as soon as Gagne scored the go-ahead goal. I really thought they would do it this year. But, if there is any team that could give up two massive leads, it's the Bruins. The franchise is cursed.

A good milestone morning to everyone!!

Hard to believe we've already arrived at the HALFWAY to the Season mark, but we have!! In six months time - November - we will all be in the Christmas Spirit and excited for the time of year we all love and cherish. Until then, we can look forward to continuing the countdown and beautiful summer weather.

I'm up a little early today - for a weekend - because I have a training camp to attend. I actually have not yet packed for it either. I best be going to do that. My ride is coming in about 20 minutes. Have a fantastic Saturday, everyone!! We are halfway there. Have a little bit more of Christmas in your heart today!

I have been making a playlist on youtube of various Christmas music videos. I have been using youtube for years and just discovered that in your playlist you can click onto "play all" to listen to the list you made. Many of you might already be aware of that, I guess I just never paid attention, lol. When I get a lot of videos together I will click the "play all" and can listen to and watch all the Christmasy stuff. It will be like popping in a dvd!

Yesterday, I celebrated the life of my God-Mother (dad's sister) who suddenly took ill and died in three days. I will miss her dearly, but already have kept her close to my heart for many years while I've celebrated Christmas memories with my forum family. She was mentioned among the relatives I celebrated so many joyful Christmases with in my first introduction to this board. It's not surprising I turn to my Christmas passion today.

Whever there was a piano or a bridge game, my Aunt was there! Christmas dinners at her house were wonderful. She took great care in designing the perfect table setting and made everything seem so welcoming. She took the same care to detail in the way she wrapped her gifts.

Good morning, friends! Happy 1/2 way to the season mark! Yipee! Isn't that just wonderful. We are at the top of the hill and now the easy part begins. it will be filled with more fun and more people coming back to see us that haven't been here in a while. it will conclude with all of us meeting in real time to countdown to the season.....man, I can hardly wait. I can't wait to start getting the decorations out....and six months and one day from now, I will be having Christmas tree night and we will be on the verge of having Thanksgiving.....

Man, oh man, hurry Christmas hurry!

Thanks for the reminder!!!! I almost forgot. My neighor is in michigan at his sons house so I didn't have him here to remind me. I am going to pull for super saver. I would love to see Borel get the triple crown. I also like dublin.

Well I didn't find any good Christmas stuff at the garage sales this morning and the rain that the weatherman said wasn't going to come in until tomorrow has arrived a day early. Now I am going to kick back and watch Santa Clause 3.
