:sparkle:7 months until Christmas!
:family: 6 months until Thanksgiving!

Brad, have fun at the mountains...I'm thinking about renting a boat and just going out on the lake for a nice afternoon. We will see.
We went to Lake Sinclair here in GA last summer and had a blast! I hope you have fun!

I love all animals Brad.. even Crown!

YABBA!
Ouch!
(At least they love me -- sniff --)
Just for that, I expect an expanded role in the next opera (if I can wrestle the spotlight away from Carl, that is!).

Good Morning (anyway)!

OK. No rain to report this morning but it remains a possibility in the forecast.
We are at 69 currently under moderately cloudy skies

Our count advances ever onward:
Days to the Season: 172
Days to Christmas Day: 214
Two weeks, guys - the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone.
Getting closerer and closerer by the day!

Well, it's once again the peak-of-the-week and time to meet at the 'Pines for Fired Twinkies, Mauradio Sugar Cookies and the sweetest Southern Iced Tea this side of Pasadena.
In light of Binger's comment, I am planning a picket line with anti-coffee signs: "Ban the Bean!", "Don't Choke on Cough-ee!", "Tea, Yes! Cough-ee, No!", etc.
(Don't know if Carl will clear it in light of his unusual interest in coffee blend experiments, but it's worth a try.)

Anyway, have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

MORNING!

Jude got up way, way too early today... a bit after 5. :o He started talking about Toy Story (his latest obsession) and then had a major freak-out so there was no going back to bed for us. Actually, he's lounging on the couch next to me and he's almost asleep. Guess it was too early for him, too!

We may have found a house we like... it's pretty darn ugly but a great town, great location, close to my family, close enough to hubby's work... we'll see. This will be the 3rd house we put an offer on so I am not getting my hopes up!

Our car is fixed already, too! We're so lucky that my husband works for such a great company and that his boss can fix cars!!! Only 1 day without the car after the accident - not bad. I could've gone without spending the $450 to fix it, though, but there are worse things in life!

Good Luck with the house and I'm glad to hear that the you got the car fixed so quickly!!!!!!cheesy

Morning everyone! It's gonna be another hot day today! Not sure what I'm gonna be up to today, probably nothing much. lol

Have a great day!

Okay did I drink some of Crown's tea and sleep through tuesday?????

Well it has been a long day already. My niece had a bad night and has been grumpy all morning. My other niece is already out of surgery and according to my sister is a little tired but just fine otherwise. I don't have much on the agenda for today. I have some laundry to do but most of the day will be spent entertaining my niece. It is going to be 88 today so I don't think we will spend much time outside. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all MMCers!

Today is going to be HOT here, probably be firing up the AC for the first time today or tomorrow (suppose to be hotter tomorrow) I get so sick in the heat.
The kittens are doing well getting friendlier the more we play/hold them, getting so attached to the 2 that we have to feed with a medicine dropper, its like feeding a baby all over again. The boys absolutely adore the kittens, my 2 y/o doesn't understand how gentle he has to be so we watch him like a hawk when one is in his lap.
Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Nothing worse than a kid waking up in a bad mood! It's supposed to be 83 today and my son is refusing to go outside.. he's in a grouchy mood. He just wants to sit on the couch and watch tv. Eh well, I guess we all have bad days!

I knew I was excited for this for some reason!! It's the 25th!! Only seven months? We're almost halfway there!! :treeguy:

Good morning, everyone!

It is already about 26C here. Temperature forecast to reach 37C or 98F. I am glad that I am indoors in an air conditioned building. The only problem is that I don't have a lunch. Therefore, I will be making the trek to Subway. I hope that I can handle the heat! To make matters worse, we have practice tonight and the tempearture will only go down by a degree this evening. Practicing at 36C is going to be nuts!!

judesmama, sorry to hear about your son waking up early. I'm sure he's very excited for the new Toy Story movie this summer! Too bad that he had to wake you up with the obsession this morning. Good luck on the house offer! Hopefully you can get it this time and make some renovations to suit your needs!!

Glad that everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The countdown is getting close. Only two more weeks until the next milestone. Hooray!

Well, I should get back to work. Not too busy today. I should be checking in periodically.

I don't have time to read and catch up on here but I will later today.

My grandson spilled a little water on my laptop yesterday. I immediately unplugged it, took out the battery and dried it off with a towel. I then turned it upside down to drip any excess water out. I went to turn it on this morning and the keys do not type right. The letters either type wrong or not at all. :-? That little bit of water sure messed it up. Thank God for the warranty. I just got back from dropping it off and they said it covers water damage! Yay! The only drawback is, it will take 2-3 weeks to get it fixed. I will miss it dearly! I will be sharing my husbands computer until then.

I hope you all have a great day!

my daughter spilled a coke on her last one. I say last one, because coke does worse things than water to a lap top! (stuck everything)
Hope you get yours back quickly. cheesy

Good Afternoon MMC !

Been a busy morning here. Got my air conditioner installed. Discovered the windows in this new abode are a lot bigger than at our old place. I will have to go and find a bigger piece of plexiglass to fill the void. (for now I have a cleverly folded and duct taped garbage bag holding back the outside air)

Hope you all have a great rest of the day! cheesy

I'm glad to hear that the waranty covers water damage!!!!!!!!

Well I just talked to my sister and the pain medicine is wearing off on my niece and she is starting to get cranky now. They keep trying to give her more but she just spits it right back out at them. She has been chowing down on ice chips and Popsicles though. I don't think my sister is enjoying spending her birthday at the hospital though. That reminds me I need to call my other sister and tell her happy birthday to.

hi my friends....been a good day....mostly sunny and hot....with a little rain shower coming down.....I ordered Dean Martin<s and Frank Sinatra´s Christmas Cds and they arrived today....I played em in the car....28 degrees celcius outside and I had Let It Snow banging in the car....:D

Good Afternoon... I have not been on here for almost a week but it feels alot longer then that. That past week has been crazy, my mom fell and broke her ankle in 3 places. She had surgery the other day and then the hospital transferred her to a rehab center for Phy. Therapy as she is having a hard time getting around with the cast on. They expect her to be in there for a couple of weeks. She was my babysitter for the kids while we worked. We had to scramble over to find someone and thankfully my cousin wasa able to refer a good friend. Now have to rework the house hold budget to factor in the cost of the new sitter.

Thanksfully our veggie is planted and some have actually sprouted through the soil already......

Well have a nice day!
