Well it is going to be a warm one here today. We are looking at a high of about 90. I have to take mom back to the doctor today for a check up on her foot. Hopefully everything will be okay and she will be able to start therapy but she has been complaining for the last week that it is really sore right along the side of her foot again. After we get done at the doctors I have to go pick up my oldest niece and bring her home with us. My youngest niece is having her tonsils out tomorrow morning and since she is so young she has to spend the night at the hospital. So my oldest niece is going to spend the next two nights with us. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a long weekend with lots of work to do, but we're making progress on the remodel. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

And Nancy (sort of) agreed to a quick trip to the mountians this weekend for Memorial Day. WooHoo! The "sort of" part is, I have to work extra hard getting the house back in order this week. That's ok. It's a small price to pay to get me back to my beloved mountains!

Morning all. Man my work week is messed up. Im working a shift at work for a friend this week. Im usualy working 12:30pm-9:30pm with saturday sunday off. This week Im working 7am-4pm with friday saturday off. So last weekend was pretty much saturday off and thats it. BUT this weekend I have friday saturday sunday off So thats better. Oh man I cant wait.... William has been sick and he has passed it onto me. Yipeee!! haha. Anyone pick up a copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2? I did and its good! Man Im tired. With William being sick he wakes up 2 hours after he falls asleep. Then he comes into our bed and rolls around either laughing, poking me or crying. So if anyone can throw some nap time my way that would be great. My Mom is coming down today as well. Her computer isnt working. Hard drive failure. I got her a new hdd, Windows 7 and a dvd light scribe burning drive. I am going to be installing that when I get home. Hopefully everything goes smoothly on that. Then I can relax. Anyone here use facebook? Do we have a mymerrychristmas group there? Oh well. This post is long enough haha. Have a great day!

Im interested also about facebook. I spend a lot of time on there but dont have any of my Christmas friends as friends!

We have the sweetest stray cat that hangs around mine and my neighbors house. We both feed him. If I am outside with my grandkids, he will come and sit in my lap. I just LOVE this cat but cannot keep him. I have too many pets already and we are renting this house. Last night I stepped outside and saw him quite a distance away and he saw me, he started to head over to me and as he crossed the street a truck saw him and sped up TRYING TO HIT HIM! He even swerved his truck toward the curbed as the cat was trying to get on the sidewalk. He barely made it to the curb in time! I WAS SHOCKED! After the truck sped off I ran over there and grabbed him and brought him to my house then started crying. I am glad the cat is ok but just so upset that jerks like this exist! Imagine if he wants to go out of his way to harm an animal, what's next? Kids? This truck doesn't look familiar to me and I hope this person (or monster) doesn't come down our street again! I have been trying to find this cat a permanent home with no luck. Seeing what happened I am going to try a little harder.

That is horrible....people are so mean its sick!

Im excited to have a short work week next week and we are closing early Friday also..Im already off on Wednesdays so this week should be easy for me cheesy. Christmas has been strongly on my mind lately! I think Im driving my Hubby nuts haha. My oldest Son is going to the dentist for the first time tonight. I hope it wont be to eventful!

Well we just got home from the doctor and he said that everything is looking okay. The tendon and ligaments are still in place but the area is still all inflamed after 2 surgeries in 9 months and that is causing most of her pain. She gets to start therapy for 5 weeks and after that he will see how she is doing and decide when she can go back to work.

Brent- I can't believe Paul Tracy pulled his time and then didn't end up making it into the 500. It was the most exciting bump day that they have had in a long time for the Indy 500 though.

If this could happen to anyone, it would be PT. I felt horrible. It looks as if I won't be watching much of the Indy 500 this year after all... For Tagliani's sake, I will tune in occasionally if I am home.

Checking in for a quick moment. Read some posts. Christmas-A-Holic, that cat story is sad. I don't know what kind of pathetic human would do that. I love most animals and cats, especially, do not deserve to be treated like that.

My Victoria Day long weekend was fairly enjoyable. Kim and I had a barbecue last night. It was delicious. We then went out for ice cream and sat on the front lawn of the Parliament Building for about 20 minutes. The heat was absolutely unbearable this weekend. With humidex, the temperature was about 35C today... Around 95F!!! Wow!! I'm totally surprised that I was able to go for a 40 minute run (with Kim) as well as play a game tonight. I'm liking this summer already!!

MORNING!

Jude got up way, way too early today... a bit after 5. He started talking about Toy Story (his latest obsession) and then had a major freak-out so there was no going back to bed for us. Actually, he's lounging on the couch next to me and he's almost asleep. Guess it was too early for him, too! :lol:

We may have found a house we like... it's pretty darn ugly but a great town, great location, close to my family, close enough to hubby's work... we'll see. This will be the 3rd house we put an offer on so I am not getting my hopes up!

Our car is fixed already, too! We're so lucky that my husband works for such a great company and that his boss can fix cars!!! Only 1 day without the car after the accident - not bad. I could've gone without spending the $450 to fix it, though, but there are worse things in life!
