Well, my boss told me to start my vacation tomorrow....so no work for me! I have the best boss in the world!
Hanging out with the wife tonight, watched a movie, ate some pizza, and tomorrow we start getting ready for our trip. Dang, I'm going to miss getting on here, but the morning I get back I will have some great coffee reading material!

All this talk of football is getting me excited! I LOVE football season and of course THE COWBOYS! I got to see the Cowboys play in their new stadium November 1, 2009. I actually went to their stadium in August before the Cowboys played there to see Paul McCartney. It's an awesome stadium!
Football goes right along with Thanksgiving and Christmas for me. The Cowboy game is part of my Thanksgiving tradition. Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in the morning, lunch with the family and a good game of football in the afternoon. Woo hoo! I can't wait!

I love getting old Christmas magazines. I picked up a couple of them from the 80's last year when we went out of town. I have not looked at them yet but have something to look forward to reading this year.

Good news! Kim and I went to Hallmark yesterday and they had their Christmas ornament display up... Finally!!! Well, the display was there. No ornaments yet, but it made me very excited!!!
As tourist flood the Nation's Capital, I will be heading out. Today marks the beginning of my journey to Prague. I will do my best to check in once, but I'd imagine that I will be very busy! I do not know how I am going to come on here for two and a half weeks. Hopefully the rest of you doing a great job at meeting Binger's posting pace! Good luck with that!
It seems like a lot of people are beginning their vacations this weekend. To all of you, I say have a great time!! I will be in the air as of about 5 PM today. We are busing to Montreal at 1 PM and then flying to Paris. We will arrive in Paris at 6 AM (Paris time) and then Prague at about 9 AM (Prague time). I'm excited to see another continent, especially a city that is so rich with tradition.
Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the fact that we are in July! Christmas is approaching. By the time I return, we will be already half way through July - and past another milestone. Fantastic! It is going to be a busy morning, so I do not believe I will return until about the 19th or 20th. I wish everyone all the best until then and keep counting down toward the most wonderful time of the year.
Have a safe and happy Canada Day. To everyone in the U.S., enjoy your Fourth of July celebrations. To everyone going on vacations, have fun with those. See you in a few weeks!!

Good morning!!!! Nice cool crisp morning here... loving it... remind me of a an early fall morning..... I am really starting to get into the Fall/halloween/Christmas mood here! Last night we all sat around the computer watching old and newer Christmas Commericals. We saw some from when hubby and I were our kids age. Really brought back some memories. May have to do that more often. Even the kids enjoyed seeing all the different ones.

Not just any weekend, but a Fourth of July weekend!
And the weather service promises us lower temps and humidity right on through Sunday, the 4th.
We stand currently at 73 under partly overcast skies. Great walking weather!

And we are now under 2 weeks away from our next Milestone, the 2/3 mark to the Season.
