The Crowns are off to Bermuda via RCL.
It is likely the last trip of this sort my father will be able to take so we don't want to miss the opportunity.
A countdown volunteer will be needed for Saturday through Thursday mornings.

Hello everyone! My A/C is fixed but the cooling fan motor is broken! So now I have to watch the engine temp until it gets fixed. I met my new 2nd cousin yesterday. She's beautiful. I just realized that I won't be able to see much of QVC's Christmas in July this weekend! Saturday, we're going outta town for the day and on Sunday, I have to work all day.

Well, I didn't get the promotion, they picked the other candidate. I am sad that I didn't get it, I was overconfident that I was getting it, but now I am back to Earth. Everything happens for a reason I guess.

Bermuda? Sounds like it should be a great time, Crown! Enjoy the time with your father. If it is his last time there, I am sure you will treasure and remember it for ever.
If nobody else can do it next week, I'd lend my services. However, I am very unreliable on weekends. So, if nobody volunteers by tomorrow's count posting, I will do next Monday - Thursday... July 26 - 29.

Good morning, everyone!!

A busy day for me. Yesterday barely any work was done. Today, however, it seems that everyone has returned from vacation or have to get everything done before going on vacation. Quite the predicament. It's a beautiful day in Ottawa. Highs of about 27C (or 31C with humidex). Nice to be in the 80s all day rather than 90s.

After taking Tuesday off, I will be returning to practice this evening. After this, I only have two more weeks of practice left (four practices total) before Nationals. Unfortunately, I do not believe I will be attending nationals again this year. They are only about a four hour drive away, however, I cannot afford to take two days off work. I would lose $200 of work funds and then more than likely spend about $250. Therefore, it would be a NET loss of $450 and I certainly cannot afford to lose any of that with everything going on. I am disappointed, but it is definitely for the best.

I ordered my new MacBook Pro last night. It cost $1476 CDN. Expensive! But, it is something I need. I am excited for it to arrive. As soon as it does, I am taking all the important files (photos, music, resumes) from my PC and transfering it to the Mac. Afterward, we are completely wiping out the harddrive on my PC and throwing it out. I don't think anyone would be interested in purchasing a seven year old PC! There's a chance that the Mac will arrive tomorrow, but I'd imagine it will get here by next Monday.

Not much else to say, really. We are only two weeks away from our next milestone! Thanks for the count, Crown!! Hard to believe we'll be in double digits already!! More appropriately, we are only two days away from the weekend!! Have a great Thursday, everyone!!

I am back to work after a week of vacation and it is not nice! My coworkers are reall buddy-buddy and they spend half the day whispering and going off to one corner of the office to chat quietly. I really couldn't care less what they are talking about and really don't want to be involved in their gossip and crap, but I find that very rude and in a way, it hurts my feelings. My boss is not a good boss at all (terrible temper and doesn't belive he is ever wrong), but he is retireing after this school year, so I am trying very hard to hang in for another year. Hopefully it will improve greatly then! I try to keep thinking happy thoughts!!!
On a happy note though.....in a few hours, I'll be back home with my animals and kids and hubby and the day will be much better!!!

I hope your boss retires early!!!

i´m tired, but can´t sleep...oh well...tomorrow morning we will leave for Kandice rehab....we won´t come back til August 19th. so this will be like a vacation....I am not looking forward to the travelingg tomorrow.

Well I have had a great time watching shopnbc for most of the day. They had some great stuff but I managed to keep the credit cards locked up. They had some really cool stuff on overnight last night and early this morning. I wish they would have shown it again some time this afternoon. This was my first time ever watching them and I was impressed. I will definitely watch them again in future. It was also nice to see Bob Bowersox back on tv. I always liked him on QVC and was sad to see him leave. It is kind of wierd though to sit here and watch him as more of the product specialist instead of the host though. Well I need to get to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

I missed shopnbc =0(... I had a busy day with my Boys..I wish I would have thought to DVR it..oh well next year ..and of course QVC coming up this weekend!

Happy Thursday, Christmas friends! Today is like my Friday because I have Friday off!

I am picking up my darling and adorable grand-daughter, Emma, for the weekend tomorrow!!! My daughter-in-law, Christie, asked Emma "Are you going to Grammie and Grampie's house this weekend?" and Emma says, "YA! I'M EXCITED"! She is 2 1/2 years old and she's just learned the word "excited"!
Emma is my sunshine - and a little angel on earth :rudolph:
Today will be another long day at work though. With taking tomorrow off - I will be busy making sure I get everything done.

Anyway...have a super day everyone - with lots of happiness!

Boy am I tired and I really dont have a good reason! Well Im back to work today after having 2 days off with my Boys..I love my time off with them but I work harder at home then I do at work!

We are having pizza for dinner..(one of my favorites) and my Hubby has a baseball game..looking forward to spending time with my Boys and when they fall asleep if it cools down enough I will make a hot chocolate and listen to some Christmas music.

Tomorrow is Christmas in July at my work and I am so excited..its going to be a very hot Christmassy weekend...with QVC being on and we are having my 1st annual Christmas in July dinner on Sunday!

YES! I have a very small office .. only 5 of us total work here..and on Friday's our 2 bosses dont come in. So it will just be us 3 girls. We all buy each other a $5 gift and bring in yummy food. Also listen to Christmas music all day long! Im actually about to get out our 3 mini trees to put at our desk for the rest of today and tomorrow!
