Good morning, everyone!!
Looks like we will be getting a bit of much needed rain today and tomorrow. Unfortunately, it appears that the wet weather will not minimize the humidity as the humidex for tomorrow is expected to reach 39C... Yep. 102F. Practice went well last night. It was good to get back on the field after a couple weeks off. My team is heading to Regionals this weekend in Waterloo. I cannot attend due to lack of funds and the fact that I have not spent a weekend home with Kim in more than a month. We also have to start packing for our big apartment move in two weeks.
There are no real big plans for the weekend. Kim is going out with friends tonight. I am actually excited to have a night to myself. I'll probably just relax and play some video games, but it will be well worth it. I may go to the gym as well. We'll see. Of course, this will all change if my MacBook Pro comes in tonight. My fingers are crossed. I'm excited to try the thing and transfer all my important documents and files from my old PC. We'll see.
Christmas in July this weekend! I will do my best to tune into QVC tonight and throughout the weekend. Maybe I can convince Kim to watch a Christmas movie on Sunday as well!! With less than two weeks until the 100 Days to the Season milestone, this will only increase our Christmas Spirit!
Only a couple more hours and then my work week is complete! Summer hours will allow me to leave at about 1 pm. I have a few tasks to take care afterward, but it will be nice returning home before 2:30. We shall see where the day takes me afterward. Have a great Friday, everyone!!
