The Blessing of Warmth
Christmas is more than a span of time on the calendar, it's a place in our hearts. Each year we welcome this season of splendor like a much anticipated visit from of cherished old friend. We embrace its advent with a flurry of Yuletide activities that reflect the spirit of our deep faith in this celebration of God's love for us. The arrival of Christmas is the blessing of WARMTH in our hearts.

Welcome to the first Monday in August! Checking my pictures on my computer in about a month and a half the leaves will start to change! Its a Holiday today but I have to work. Oh well. My Wife and Son are gone with her parents to the beach today! Im sitting here listening to Christmas music and eating breakfast! I checked walmart saturday and they have the isles cleared in the seasonal section! That means they are just about to put the fall/Halloween stuff out! Ill have to check this weekend again to see for you all! Have a great day.
Monday again.... only 12 more weeks and we will be in the week of Halloween...16 weeks..Thanksgiving and 20 weeks..Christmas. I dont want to rush it too much but sure would like to be in the middle of September with all the leaves changing and the crisp morning air! Have a wonderful Monday and just remember we are a day closer to all of our favorite things

Hey! UNDER half a week now to our next Milestone, that fantastic 100-day window through which we will pass down to SINGLE DIGITS to the Season.

Overcast here in Raleigh this morning but the temp stands at a very pleasant 73 degrees.
Despite the clouds, the weather service says we have a low chance of rain today. We shall see.

Wow, it was another hot weekend. The girls went school-clothes shopping Saturday, and Jacob & I worked a little that morning, then we went out for hot wings. It's never too hot for hot wings!
Yesterday, we had lunch at my mom's house. Then I napped on her couch for a hour or so. It was a quiet weekend, mostly. That's the way I like it!

We were over at the English Butler on Sunday. They are finishing their Christmas in July Sale. Last years Christmas stock on for DIRT CHEAP. The Yankee Candle collection there has some fall/autumn scents in. I was trying to get my son (William) to try and smell the candles. Apparently all he wants to do is EAT the candles. haha

Well it has been a long morning already. It seemed like I had just laid down and the alarm started going off. It has been awhile since I have gotten up at 5am and I really didn't want to do it today. The managers at the accounts I wanted to call on today though are there early and leave by lunch time so I dragged myself out of bed and headed out before all the morning rush hour traffic. The good thing is that I got all of the accounts called on by 8am and headed home. I don't have anything planned for the rest of today. I am sure that it is going to have something to do with christmas though. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so agree. There are 2 days in August that I want the nice summer weather for, our son's b-day party and our day trip to the Shore. Otherwise I am so ready for fall and all the greatness that comes with it.
With all due respect to ArkansasChristmas, I suggest you keep your current av. The new av looks super, but I'm used to seeing the big, golden Crown in your posts.Well, now!

Hello everyone! Long time no speak! It has been a hectic couple of weeks. The jewelery store has a huge sale going on and I've been working longer hours to get things ready, then staying late to put the jewelery in the safe. I can't believe August is here! That means Christmas is getting closer and classes start at the end of the month! Can't wait!
