Well I am off to babysit for awhile. Hopefully I will be home before it gets real hot but I have a feeling that I am going to be stuck at my sisters for most of the day. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Ninety-nine degrees predicted here for today after a hard rain last night. (Can you imagine what the humidity and heat index level will be today?)
And no relief from the 90's predicted for the foreseeable future.
Regardless, you have a Thrilling Thursday secure in the knowledge that tomorrow will not only see us down to 99 days, it will also be Weekend Eve!

I used to think our office was bad, but at least I can listen to whatever music I want. 11 months sounds like a long time, but maybe it'll pass quickly for you. Just focus on getting to fall, then Christmas. Everything else will work out! cheesy

The kids bought a DVD yesterday, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." It's pretty funny! We watched it last night after having dinner with my mom. The also bought "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" a couple weeks back, and it was very good, too. Several good kid's movies out lately.
My father in law leaves for his fishing trip this afternoon, so I'm up before the crack of dawn for the next couple days, opening his store. I like to think I'm an early riser. I usually wake up around 6:30AM without an alarm, but 5:30 is a different matter. We'll see how I fare.

I wish I could tell you all that has gone on here in the past couple of weeks. It's to the point where it is almost funny. we can't even stop and speak to anyone else in the building, we can't listen to any kind of electronics, we can't talk to anyone about anything that is said or done in our office. You'd think we were preschoolers!!! I know this is common rules in other offices, but our buildng is so laid back, we dont' have a dress code, people walk down the halls talkin on cell phones, music is playing, etc. And now our boss has his panties in a knot and throws all these new rules out. It's just stupid!!
It sounds like he is an out-of-control control freak. Guys like that never seem to understand that those kind of midieval tactics usually hurt productivity. Sorry you have to deal with that.
it's OK, cause I laugh to myself thinking that he doesn't know I'm in "Chrismtas Land"!
Good Milestone Morning, everyone!!
100 Days to the Christmas Season has arrived. Tomorrow, the double digits will be ever-so welcomed along with a weekend! There is another chance of thunderstorms today as the temperatures are to reach 36C (98F) with humidity. We've had huge thunderstorms the past two days. Both also created funnel clouds in the sky. Thankfully, none touched down.
Kim, Mike and I did plenty of cleaning last night at the apartment. We cleaned for about three hours! Yesterday, a friend agreed to drive a couple boxes over in order to lighten the load on Saturday. Obviously, we still have much more than necessary in the apartment. We are currently trying to rent a UHaul for Saturday morning as my friend with a truck cannot help. It will certainly be real nice getting everything out and into the new apartment.
Both of my bosses are away from work again today. Thankfully, they left me with a few things to do. Not a whole lot else going on right now... The move has taken over everything!
Have a great Milestone Thursday, everyone!! 100 Days to the Christmas Season is an incredible accomplishment! We've made it so far. It will certainly be nice to watch the numbers decrease in double rather than triple digits!

We are glad you stopped by! This is the best place to be and the Countdown to Christmas-2010 thread is awesome! I didn't join on this thread last year when I signed up. In January I hopped on board and realized I missed out on a lot. It's nice to have conversation with each other on here every day!
Speaking of MP3 players. At my job, I get there an hour before we open to feed the animals and clean the pet shop. I usually listen to my MP3 player before we open then remove them as the customers come in. Then in the middle of the day I head back down to the pet shop to finish up cleaning. My boss will ask me where my MP3 player is. I laugh and tell him I can't listen to music during business hours but he don't seem to mind if I did. With my job it would be impossible to enjoy the music because I would have to turn it off every 2 seconds to wait on a customer. I have very cool bosses!

I was on the train tonight going home, and someone was watching a show on his laptop. One of the scenes that caught my eye was a Christmas scene! It just makes my heart leap for joy!!!
Gonna get the ol' guitar out again tonight. I've been good...I've been playing every night even though my poor fingers hurt! But - I know there will come a day when they won't and I won't have to be so "ginger" while playing! I've been looking up Christmas songs to learn!
