Christmas Countdown - 2010

Hi everybody! Just checking in to say hello! We're moved in and trying to get settled before the baby comes... only 18 days until my due date!!! Lots of unpacking and projects going on. Miss ya all!

Wow guys! Amazing, simply amazing! 100 days until the season. It seems like last week we were ringing in the season (when my power went out, of course) and Christmas Eve soon followed. I just can't get over it. We are almost there. Just think of all the things that will happen in the next 100 days. School will be back in session, Halloween, our first Christmas gifts will be bought, our decorations will be up, and we will be getting ready for Thanksgiving. Gosh...I can hardly wait. The best part is that we get to do it all together! I'm excited.

You know what else? In 101 days, my wife and I have our annual Christmas Tree Night. That is one of my favorite nights!

Long day today, my two year old is really proving the term "terrible twos." Lets just say he took his diaper off and did the finger painting again, and I was no more than 15 feet away from him in the kitchen, he is so sneaky and quick, we asked him why he did it and his response was "I like to." I see why some species eat their young. lol. Has anyone heard of a magazine called Mark Lipinski's Christmas 365? I came across it today on the magazine rack, I guess it is a year round Christmas magazine, I quickly looked at it but would like to hear a few opinions before I would pick it up because it was quite expensive for a magazine.

May Christmas trees and twinkle lights warm your dreams tonight.

Awwwwwwwwww.....I know it must be a tiring job raising 2 little ones!! LOL that was funny about how some species eat their young !!! I never heard of Christmas 365 But it definitely sounds worth checking out !!! Have a wonderful evening ! :rudolph:

It's only going to be 85 degrees tomorrow and with hardly any humidty!!!!!!!! Unfortuantely the coldest day next week is going to be 92.

Kim, Mike and I did plenty of cleaning last night at the apartment. We cleaned for about three hours! Yesterday, a friend agreed to drive a couple boxes over in order to lighten the load on Saturday. Obviously, we still have much more than necessary in the apartment. We are currently trying to rent a UHaul for Saturday morning as my friend with a truck cannot help. It will certainly be real nice getting everything out and into the new apartment.

I hope the weather cools down for the big move!!!!!!!!

Well it has been a long day. I ended up not getting home from babysitting until almost 9pm and then my oldest niece had to come home with me to stay the night. She refused to go to bed when she got here and stayed up until my mom went to bed at 11pm. At least mom is off work tomorrow so we should all be able to sleep in. I stopped by hobby lobby again and they were starting to unload a new shipment of Christmas stuff. They had just got in a new Santa that I love. He was an old world Santa and was probably 3 foot tall. He was gorgeous. He was also $140 dollars though so I didn't buy him. I did pick up a couple of Santa ornaments. They still didn't have any of the smaller Santa's out but the manager told me that they had just received their shipment so he didn't know if they got them in today or not. Well I need to head to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey xmas! Firstly...oh those "terrible twos"! I remember the boys at that age - and the "figer painting" days as well! Although very yucky and I'm sure...stinky - your post gave me a little chuckle...lol!

Secondly, I just looked up Mark Lipinski's Christmas 365...www.christmas365mag.com (I had never heard of that magazine before)...and I think someone should tell this guy to check out and join MMC! He says, "If I were king of the world, cupcakes, every day would be Christmas!" Looks like the magazine is published 4 times a year. If you happen to pick it up - please let us know what you think!

WOW...as I said above...only 85 more days to my "fun-filled, festive Christmas Tree and decorating 4-day long weekend extravaganza" begins!!! (yup...still considering trademarking that...lol) I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! :dance: I am happy-dancing all over the place!!!

Well - its Friday again! And...today is my youngest son's birthday (he is 26 years old today)! My boys were born 1 year and 2 days apart.

I cannot wait for this weekend! I pick up our little Emma early tomorrow morning and then we will have "family day" on Sunday to celebrate the boys' birthdays!!!

Good Morning My Christmas Family !!

It is Finally Friday. Today not much planned but I am having my yearly mammogram today - what fun ! You ladies will know what I mean. Not really looking forward to it at all but if everything is okay then it is worth it. Other than that not a lot going on. I plan to spend a quiet day NOT TYPING at least as far as work and perhaps looking through some Christmas books !!

This should have been done yesterday.

I went out with my girlfriend yesterday and decided to do a road trip in her transport truck with her to Mississauga. It was after 8 before I got home. Then I discovered that the kitchen was a disaster area because (so they say) everyone was out all day.
So the mystery remains...if everyone was out all day, how did the kitchen get so messy?

Good Morning everyone!

This is my day off, no kids and no work. I really need it! My whole body is sore and I am tired. I have been VERY busy all week with the kids and increased my workout routine. I am not sure what I will do today. I will probably do some chores and then REST!

I am looking forward to the Hall of Fame football game this Sunday evening! I am so ready for football!!!! Is anyone else watching?

Good Morning everyone... well today is my sons birthday. Can not believe my little guy is now 4. This morning I asked him what he wanted for his birthday dinner and he looks at me and says CAKE! LOL!! Made cupcakes for him last night. His party is not until next weekend, having a cook out!

Sunday is my god daughter's baby shower, going to be busy tomorrow make little chocolates for the shower. I have the candy molds, just need to get the candy melts at lunch time today.

Well we are now under 100 days til the season. Can not wait.
