Well, Christmas friends...we are in the double-digits! YA!

Another Friday has come. Ahhhhhh...the weekend!

But for tonight - I rest because the weekend will hold a lot of activity and excitement with Emma coming and then celebrating the boys' birthdays on Sunday! It will be sooooooooo much fun!

I'll be getting the guitar out again tonight. My fingers actually do not hurt as bad today - so I think that's a good sign!

So...on that night I shall wish you all a good and merry night!

Another weekend is upon us and I am so glad. Work for me has picked up some, not out of work as often as I was, which is good. I just realized it is only 64 days until the Hallmark Ornament Premiere in October (the 9th and 10th) !!!!!! They have 3 of them but all are named different things. I just call them all "premieres". Once again, I can't wait !!!!!! Horrah !!! Christmastimes Is Almost Here !!!!

Good evening Christmas friends


I don't know what is going on this week at work, it is so busy, it feels busier this week than the week leading up to Thanksgiving last year, my Friday is tomorrow so my weekend is almost here. My wife and LC (2yo) had a good night of bonding, she said while she was making dinner he wanted to watch Christmas movies, she put on Rudolph and Frosty's CIJ, he got bored with it quickly (can't say I blame him) and then he wanted Frosty the Snowman, which was his favorite last Christmas, he watched the whole thing and wanted more but my wife felt once was enough, thats my boy or as some people tell me thats my clone. His brother was having fun playing video games with his uncle at his Grammy's house, and they live by the rule "What happens at Grammy's, stays at Grammy's," so I am sure he will be a peach tomorrow because he will be so overtired.

Well it has been a long day and I am exhausted. I love my niece but she can be a handful at times. I did manage to go to the store this evening and pick up a new electric griddle to put back for my sister for Christmas. So that is one more present bought. I am going to go try and catch up on everything i missed the last couple of days.

I am so, so, so tired of all this HOT weather! The only thing keeping me from melting is thinking of Christmas getting here!! Heat indices of 105...ugh. Come on Christmas, move a little faster would ya?!

Just a quick good mornin' to all of you! Gonna head out early to pick Emma up! Its quite a drive - so I'll bring lots of Christmas music with me to listen to in the car!

Oh...and Xmas...I also live by the rule "what happens at Grammie's, stays at Grammies"! Hahaha! Its good to hear your wife and the little one had a good evening bonding...and watching Frosty. That's one of Emma's faves too!

Good morning everybody!! Gray and overcast here in sunny downtown Blairgowrie and I have to say, we had the heating on briefly last night. Oh for my summers back home.......you never had the heating on in August in sunny downtown Toronto!!!!!!!!!

Today = working. Again. Which I know I shouldn't complain about in the current economic climate but I would like just one weekend when I'm not marrying anybody and have to deal with brides from he ll !!! Last week we had an owl flying forward with the rings, today it's on board the RRS Discovery (Scott of the Antarctic's ship) and last week's owl can only be topped by a penguin this week!!! Yes, I'm joking but it really is a case of "Anything you can do, I can do better....."!!!

My cunning plan of "World Domination in a plaid theme" has had to be put on hold until at least the end of October.........I hate it when that happens!!!! You get half way through slip covering Venezuela and somebody wants you to marry them..........!!!

I hope you got some much needed REST today!!! We all need time to re-charge our batteries. You have a great weekend as well!!!

I ran some errand early in the day and just felt really tired while running around. When I came home I did very little chores and needed to do more but instead stayed in bed and watched tv. It felt good just to lay around!

I don't know what is going on this week at work, it is so busy, it feels His brother was having fun playing video games with his uncle at his Grammy's house, and they live by the rule "What happens at Grammy's, stays at Grammy's," so I am sure he will be a peach tomorrow because he will be so overtired.

My daughter and son-in-law say I am too lenient when the kids are over. The boys do run wild sometimes and I don't discipline them enough. They get a mini time out every now and then but probably need a longer time out! cheesy

I know how you feel! My granddaughter is an absolute angel and so sweet but she is still a lot of work since she is not a year old yet. I am amazed at what a good baby she is. My 2 grandsons are a HANDFUL but when we get out and do stuff we have a blast and they are very well behaved. At home they tend to get rowdy and fight with each other.

The weather got scary in our area yesterday evening. My friends neighborhood made headline news. The neighborhood was hit with storms and high winds and destroyed some property. She said it scared her and her cats to death. It tore her wooden fence up and flew into her neighbors yard onto their trampoline. Everyone is ok, Thank God! It actually dropped our weather 25 degrees-down to 80 degrees. Bad news is, it will be back up over 100 today. :-?

Wow, we actually have NICE weather here today! Middle 80s and low humidity!!!! I think we'll go to the farmer's market behind our house today and walk around... and then we're going to my sister's wedding dress fitting - so exciting!

Yaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn......coffee time. Gotta get up. Busy day today. Gonna.....DO NOTHING. No yard work, no house cleaning, nothing. Just gonna be. Wait, that's tomorrow.

Today, the wife and I have a couple of errands to run. Shouldn't take too long. Gonna spend some time on doing some Christmas related activities. She really starts getting excited this time of year. She will tell me stuff like...in two months we get to listen to Christmas music....or in one month we will buy Christmas gifts....just stuff like that and I know she's thinking about it.

Anyways, gonna go get my day started! See y'all.

Wantto get as much done as possible to get ready for our cook out next weekend. House work can wait until later in the day when it warms up. A Little over a month until I start decorating for fall.
