Good morning, everyone!!

Posting from the wireless signal on site at the 2010 Canadian Ultimate Championships in Sherbrooke. We are staying at the Bishops University residences, and I must say the site is very nice. All the fields are right around us, which certainly beats driving anywhere. It's very good stuff! Surprisingly, we are not playing until noon. Most of the time we start at 8:30 AM, so this is a welcome change. Three games today!

It looks like we are certainly closing in on last years post total. More than four months ahead of schedule!! I'm sure we will surpass it today. Way to go to whoever managed to get that record setting post!! Not much else to say... Looking great with only 3 days left in the 90s!

Have a great Thursday, everyone!
Good luck with your game! Hopefully it does not get to hot for you today.

For those who are interested, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has released the dates for their annual November-December tour! They put on a fantastic show and I highly encourage everyone to go see them! It is a great musical performance!!

Unfortunately, I cannot attend this year. They are coming to Ottawa on December 22nd and I will already be in Sault Ste. Marie for the Holidays by then. Still, I hope many others can see them!

Atlanta on Dec 10! I might actually be able to make that one!

Really? Wow, I am ready to turn on my heat here too, only it is to hot outside still! cheesy
If I turned on the heat in my house, it might actually still be cooler than outside!

Strange to start on a Friday! How nice though, go to school 1 day and off for a whole weekend!
If you think that's strange, it's Friday the 13th, too! :o

Thanx for all the well wishes... all is fine.. except for the lack of coffee... there are some things which we who live in the land of the free should not have to endure...

Welcome back, Binger! Glad everything's ok! cheesy

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Not much has been going on around here. We've been trying to prepare for school to start back on Friday. We live a couple blocks from the school, so Nancy's making me trim the shrubs and put straw around them, and cut the grass. Gotta make sure everyone sees a pretty yard as they ride by. LOL

I hope you all have a great day!cheesy

Good morning everyone... finally got a break from the heat.... humidity should be decreasing as the day goes on too. It's raining this morning.
Send that weather this way!

I should get busy with my flowers, but cannot seem to get going on them this morning. Keep finding other stuff to do, like laundry, dishes, vacuming etc etc. Inbetween I am here....maybe I should stop talking and ge busy?
Nah...this is more fun! cheesy

I have the house to myself this morning, maybe that is why I have no motivation! I am going to crank up some lively Christmas tunes and just enjoy it!

By next month we will start selling lots of bales of straw at work so people can decorate for the fall. Exciting times!

Fall decorating tips: (some people may already know this but for those who don't) For fall decorating people like to use bales of straw to display outside. Just to let you know at my job we sell both bales of straw and hay. Most customers come in to buy hay not knowing the difference. Mostly city folks in our area, including me! cheesy Huge difference! Do not buy hay, buy straw. Hay absorbs a lot of moisture and tends to mold and is not near as pretty as straw. Straw is more water repellent and last longer.

We will start selling lots of straw starting in September and the front porch to our store will be loaded with pumpkins. I can't wait! Our store has a real country store feel and has been around for over 80 years. Very nostalgic!

Ahhh city folk! I grew up a farm, but now live in the city. I think I will get some straw again this year, always looks nice in the front yard.
Thanks for the info!
