Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!! It is a fall like day here in central Indy which inspired me to get up and head to the apple orchard this morning. I bought a small bag of apples to eat but I didn't buy any cooking apples. We are supposed to get back up into the 90's starting monday so it is still to early to start my fall baking. I also bought 2 gallons of fresh apple cider. This afternoon I am thinking about spending some time ripping out my garden. My tomato plants never did any good so I decided to just let them die off a couple of weeks ago. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made it sounds like a perfect Fall like day for you. Fresh Apple cider surely does sound good today !!! It is very similar weather here in Ohio to what you are having.. Have a great rest of the weekend !

Good evening all.

Just a quick note before bed, had a DR appt today and he was very happy with my weight loss, and I talked to him about my anxiety and he said it is normal for an occasional anxiety attack, the meds are not going to be able to stop everything especially in a place like where my last attack happened so that made me feel better and I am not reverting back into the anxious mess I was a while back.

Congratulations on your weight loss !!! I knew you could do it !! It is so tough, I have been struggling with maintenance the last few months. So glad your doc reassured you about your anxiety. Believe me, I know all about that issue also ! I am glad you are feeling better !

hey everyone....i am just taking a break from housework to relax for a moment....i already cleaned the bathroom, done laundry, folded laundry, tidy up the room...later on I will go on to clean the windows...maybe...lol...I hope U all have a beautifull day!!!

I am so excited about the season starting in 70 more days...

I can't wait to wear long sleeves and also wear my Christmas shirts!!

The lows tonight are suppose to hit 66*F. That's gonna feel so good here in south Louisiana. I'm seriously looking forward to it.

I am. I have two baby showers to attend. I heart baby showers!! I guess because I heart babies!! LOL

Oh...its a beautiful day here too! I had to put my big sweater and jean jacket on this morning when I took Mercedes for her walk. She was sooooooooo happy! She loves the colder weather - and I think she just may have been walking me this time!

Its a good thing I am a morning person (its my favourite time of day)! I'm like you and Christmas-A-Holic...I tend to wake up early even when I could sleep in. The latest I ever sleep in on the weekends is 6am. If I wake up before then - and my mind gets "engaged"...forget about getting any more sleep!

How is your darling little one doing? Are you getting any sleep?

He's doing great! We are all sleeping pretty well, considering! Our first was a terrible sleeper so anything is an improvement!!

He's doing great! We are all sleeping pretty well, considering! Our first was a terrible sleeper so anything is an improvement!!

That's GREAT news! With two little ones...I'm sure you need all the rest you can get!

Oh...believe me - I know exactly what you are going through! My boys are 1 year, 2 days apart. My first born didn't sleep all night until he was, like...4. Well...maybe 3. Whenever I put him in a "big boy's bed" - that's when he started sleeping all night.

Then - my youngest son slept all night from the day I brought him home from the hospital (thankfully)!

Well it has been a long time since I have actually gotten cold while sitting out on my rocking chair but it happened tonight. I was sitting out taking to my neighbor and we both had to go inside and put pants on instead of our shorts. That is surely a sign that fall is right around the corner and hopefully I will remember that when it is 90 degrees out on Monday and Tuesday.

Busy, busy day today, we had our tag sale as part of the Town Wide tag sale, where our site was put as a star on a map and we did very very well, we made over $300.00 selling mostly our older baby items we don't need anymore. We stayed outside for the sale for over 9 hours, and then went to a party for a few hors after. I am exhausted tonight, and should sleep well.

Good morning everyone....Today marks the last day of our great yearly fair "The Backfischfest"....it will end with a big fire works at 9pm....yup....I luv it....it´s now dark at 9pm....during summer it doesn´t get til 10 over here.
