Good Morning Christmas Pals and Good Morning America,
Today is a bit solemn as we remember 9/11. I continue to keep the victims and their families in my prayers. I will take a few moments of silence and prayer throughout the day to pay my respects. When I see a plane in the sky, maybe as I pass a fire station, or I see a rememberance wreath on someones door. Today I remember. I pray for peace. I pray for inner peace for the families, friends and loved-ones of the victims. Today I focus on CHRIST in the word Christmas. May my love for him shine through today in all I do. Have a wonderful day Christmas Pals. Make it a day that is Merry and Bright.

Good Saturday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I had to open the store for my father-in-law again this morning, then I did a little work on my business, then I took my daughter to this weekend's festival in town. It was nice, but TOO HOT! It's 98° here!

I'm relaxing with a movie today. I never get to do that!

Good evening, Christmas friends!

What a whirl-wind day with Emma! That adorable little angel does not stop. After dinner I gave her a bath then Grampie read us a night-time story. After she spoke with Mommy and Daddy on the phone and then she said to me, "I wanna go nappy". She was just sooooooooo tired.

Ya...so am I!

Just reading up on this thread right now and saw the posts about today being 9/11. I remembered that this morning as I drove to pick Emma up...and my prayers and heart go out to everyone on this day.

I hope you all have sweet dreams of Christmas.

Lucky you! It finally rained around 6:30 yesterday afternoon and the temp dropped to about 78°, but it was still humid.

Good morning, friends! Boy, yesterday was hot and today it is going to be about 12 to 15 degrees cooler! What a welcome change! Should be this way all week, maybe the HOT days are gone (I doubt it). Today, I'm going to get my clothes for this week ready, watch some NFL football, and do some Christmas work. That sounds like a good day. To top it off, I'm going to keep coffee at the ready. By tonight, I will be climbing on the walls.

I don't like to talk about sports when I'm here because it's not a sports board, but I must say this.....

Good Morning!

I felt sick most the day yesterday. Wayne and I had planned to go to Dave and Busters but after running our usual Saturday errands I told him I wanted to come home and lay down for a little bit and see how I feel. Well, I just stayed in bed and never got back up! :-?

I spent most of the day watching 9/11 documentaries. Such a sad day in history that I will never get over.

I remember on 9/11 I was watching a friend of mines daughter while she was at work. She called me from work and told me a plane had just crashed into the World Trade Center. I was wondering why she called to tell me that. She only ever called me from work in the past if she was going to be late getting off work or checking on her daughter. Then she gasped and said, "omg, they just crashed into the Pentagon"! Then I knew we were under attack. I switched from cartoons to the news the rest of the day. Scary day and still keeping their families in prayer.

It's going to be in the upper 90's today. Yuck!

Tonight the Cowboys are playing. GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!
