Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good morning!

The kids were in a crazy mood this morning they must be feeling better. JP got on his bus and that calmed everything down. I am a little tired today, but plugging along, I cleaned out the fridge earlier, I have been avoiding it for the last few weeks, I think I discovered some new kind of life form, that will teach me to stay on my every Tuesday schedule with that. I have to start getting things ready for my decoration plans, I am falling behind again, just need the stores to start bringing in their Christmas decorations so I can start replacing light strands and so on. Is it me or does it seem the merchandise is coming in later every year?

Today is my 3 year wedding anniversary! We went out to dinner over the weekend. My Hubby bought me a yankee candle "be thankful" (smells like a thanksgiving kitchen) my favorite! Also a pair of hoop white gold earrings, a Hallmark ornament (a little sleigh bell with a snowman and my name on it) oh and a pumpkie pie yayay! He knows the way to my heart.

Have a wonderful Tuesday! I am off of work tomorrow and will be doing some Christmas shopping and spending the day with my Boys.

Happy Anniversary to you... Thats one of my fav candles as well.

I was just talking about the merchandise coming out later this year with the lady I work with yesterday! We normally could find Fall stuff out at our local dollar store around Christmas in July (because we have a celebration at work) and we couldnt find any this year. Im dying for more Christmas stuff to come out!

The candle actually smells a lot like pumpkin with maybe some cinnamon or other spices LOL ...turkey would be an interesting scent haha but the description says a thanksgiving kitchen..maybe they mean thanksgiving desserts? :hello:

I go nuts at the Yankee store! I have such trouble leaving, lol! The Marshalls near me has Yankees for cheap -it's awesome! They have Halloween ones out now.

Haha! I figured it would be a pumpkin scent or something. I told Wayne about Thanksgiving Kitchen scent and told him wouldn't it be strange if they came out with meat scented candles. Eww! You never know! People come up with weird stuff. cheesy

Sounds like a lovely scent. I will have to look for that one next time I am out!
 
My son-in-law just called me and said he has to go to work tomorrow so the kids will be coming over. That's ok with me, I kind of miss them! It sure did help me not having them yesterday since I felt bad all day. I feel a WHOLE lot better today! Thanks for everyone's well wishes!
 
We need some Binger coffee to kick it up a notch and maybe get to 20,000 before Christmas. Ha ha!

That might be shooting for an impossible goal but fun to think about. cheesy

Kitchen is all cleaned up again from lunch. Now to figure out what to do with all those tomatoes? I am thinking either just tomato sauce or maybe some salsa and can it for later. cheesy
 
whoah fellas...today I been to one of those all year open christmas stores with kandice and my mom...it was fabulous...I will post a few pictures tomorrow evening or next tomorrow...I really enjoyed it

Good Tuesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

10,000 posts and I missed it?!? What a great accomplishment! I've been stuck in meetings all morning and just got back from lunch.

I recieved a 2nd monitor for my computer here at work, so now I'm using one to chat here, and one to work on. Love it!

It's chilly this morning but going up to 78. Nice day! Jude (my 2.5 year old) came down with a fever suddenly last night. He didn't seem bothered by it, just very tired and kind of out of it. He still had a slight fever this morning so I guess my hopes to take my new double stroller out and about today are dashed... we'll be staying in and taking it easy. Not to mention, both boys were up at 5 am today! Ahhhh! Coffee!
