I walked around Crabtree Valley Shopping Center this afternoon. "A Christmas To Remember" appears fully stocked from what I could see through the gaps in their window barrier but they still have yet to open.
Should be any day now!

I am going to the Christmas store here in town this week to check out their new stuff. Can't see much through their windows either!

This cold has knocked me on my butt, I may have got a total of 2.5 hours of sleep last night.
We had fun at the orchard today, the only thing is they sold out of that painting I wanted, and will not be getting anymore. :-?

My Bengals started their long winning streak today, lol, offense not to impressive but defense looked good. A win is a win.

So....we go eat and head out to Sam's and a grocery store. At Sam's, we bought our first decoration of the year. Gonna post it later. Went by Hobby Lobby and forgot they were closed. I was disappointed, but I did get to see the Christmas stuff at Sams. At the grocery store, I did by some candy corn!! it's one of my favorite candies! I just love it. So I sit here and I have eaten half a bag and will eat the other half tomorrow night. You should have seen all the candy! It was great. Just shows you how close to the season we are.....man oh man is it close.

Great time at Christmas Chatter last night. Love the new format even if we did drive RJD nuts with the sound effects!

I heard on the news that Timmins (northern Ontario) has a frost warning out for tonight! It is coming, but not yet..tomorrow we are getting temperatures up to 30c here.cheesy

Well this weekend has now gone and the week is starting anew. Of course today also marks my return to the work force after 4 months. This is so great for Carrie and me so we can start working on the goals we started two years ago. Since today is the first day most will probably be the boring HR paperwork day, which will put you to sleep faster then taking sleeping pills. SO i hope everyone has a great day.

Oh, the anticipation! Maybe it will open even earlier than last year?!

There was a frost warning in the Sault as well! I heard we were on the verge of getting frost in North Bay, too.

(In fact, there are under 8 weeks left until the Season begins!)
Days to the Season: 54
Days to Christmas Day: 96
And only 5 days remain until our next Milestone, the 3/4 marker to Christmas Day!

Another beautiful, calm and sunny morning here in Raleigh where we stand at 68 sweetly strollable degrees.
No rain in the forseeable forecast which is actually bad news for the grass.
(But good news as far a mosquitoes are concerned!)
