Christmas Countdown - 2010

We went to go see Rush last night in concert. I was out till midnight, wayyyy past my bedtime! I remember when I was younger the night just started at midnight. :wink:

I feel like I have a hangover and I DO NOT drink! Lol!

This is the 2nd time I seen them. First time was in the early 80's. This was Wayne's first time to see them. It is his favorite band. We had a great time!

I am really tired today and need to catch up on all the post here in the countdown. I am a little behind!

Another lazy rainy day up here, LC is taking a nap with a kitten they both fell asleep while sitting down watching Noddy. So I can relax and watch TSO: Ghosts of Christmas Eve again while he sleeps. I have to go to work in a couple hours, so the good part of my day will come to an end quickly.

Track, I hope Kandice feels better soon!

My mom is in a very rough place right now. She's in the hospital and we're hoping this is a step in the right direction for her. She's not been eating for months and is down to 98 lb (she is 5'6"). I hope she can get the help she needs now... rough day yesterday.

Prayers said and more on the way for you, your mom and your family ! xo

I have wanted to see Rush since about 1981 when I got Moving Pictures, the album that made me a fan. And here they are, during this tour, doing that album in it's entirety. Whereas it would have been nice to have seen them sooner, it was definitely worth the wait, an absolute awesome experience.

another week closer to christmas and it is starting with a visit to Kandice ´ doctor....unfortunately her cold has finally turned into a bronfchitis....both of us hardly slept and because she was coughing so hard she threw up about 6 at night...we won´t get around taking antibiotics this time again. so please pray for my babygirl for quick recovery!

All the best to Kandice. Bronchitis is definitely an irritating sickness. I had it for about a month five years ago and it took a lot out of me. I can recall coughing myself to sleep on a nightly occurrence. I hope her's improves and it is not too bad.

Ugh... just got word from my Grandmom that she signed herself out. So much for her getting help.

Hopefully your mom begins putting her family ahead of herself sooner or later. Definitely thinking of her and your family! All the best, judesmama.

I don't know if any of you know, but I work at Macy's & yesterday as we were closing I saw some Christmas trees & other ornaments being put up! YEE YEE YEE! I bursted open with joy! They're all upstairs, and I work downstairs, but when I get a chance, I'm gonna go check it all out & see how its coming along.

I would say to bring a camera but it would look might strange taking photos in your own store! Some updates would be just as exciting!

Congratulations on finally seeing one of your favourite bands! I had a similar experience two years ago and it is still something that I treasure each and every day. The fact that they played the album that made you a fan in its entirety must only make it that much more special.

Hey everyone! I hope all is well! I have been busy since we last talked with work and school. My Christmas countdown is up! Our Halloween decorations are up! Christmas is just around the corner!

Good evening, everyone!

I hope your week has started off on the right foot. The final week of September. Where has this time gone? Fall is here and we've already celebrated Christmas in September. I guess the only thing left is to welcome a brand new month and close in on Christmas. October, here we come! October usually provides us with our first Christmas commercials of the season. I like to predict which date I will spot the first Christmas commercial. Unfortunately, I have not been correct the past few years. October 23rd was kind to me for a few years in a row. Since then, it seems to have been a bit later.

A big Monday Night Football game tonight! Packers vs. Bears! The oldest rivalry in the NFL! Here's hoping for another big game from the Packers. Going up 3-0 in the NFC North would be great for Green Bay. But, they need to play hard all game to win.

Classes were fast and enjoyable today. Three hours seems like nothing. Tomorrow is a fairly long day. I will be there from 8:30 until 6:30. At least I am enjoying myself.

Crown, if nobody else volunteers, I may be able to fill-in on the countdown. I think I can make some time to ensure that a countdown update is posted earlier than my normal posting schedule now. I can inherit the duties for a few days again. I really enjoyed it before, so I would be more than happy to do so again.

Aww. I am so sorry to hear she is sick again. I pray she gets better quickly!

Good evening everyone!!!!!!! It was a pretty productive day here. I went to toys r us and picked up 4 more more gifts for my nieces and nephew. I also stopped by Michaels while I was close by and picked up some craft projects to give my older nieces. I am still a little behind where I want to be mainly because I don't have any ideas for my mom and aunt.
