They usally fly F16 here they do test flights from the air force base next to my house to chattanooga. It does get annoying and starttles you a little since it will shake the whole house and windows each time.

I use to be very scared to fly untill i was in the navy and had to fly all the time. The worse place I had to fly into was Adak, Ak and it is due to the fact that you cant see the runway when you land since it is alwyas clowdy and you have to fly betweeen two mountain and hope you slow down enouth to land and not go in to the water or cash in to the mountain.

That is what the Thunderbirds are but I am sure you knew that already. cheesy I know I will not be seeing one fly over but would love to see an SR71 Blackbird!

I hate that I am scared of flying. It's dumb fear since it's the safest travel. I just don't like the idea of being in mid air so high up! I will if I have to but just hate every second of it!

When I saw 38 Special was back in the early 80's at a music festival they had every year at the Cotton Bowl called The Texas Jam. There were lots of musicians there every year. As I was enjoying 38 Special I got hit in the eye with a wadded up cup and missed quite a few songs. I could hear them of course but I couldn't see and was dealing with a little pain and couldn't enjoy it!

It was an accident. No one was aiming at me. People on the floor and people in the balcony were tossing smashed cups back and forth at each other. Have no idea why but I guess they thought it was fun. Lol. All of the sudden out of no where I get hit in the eye and everyone stopped throwing them. I was embarrassed more than anything because everyone was looking my way. Lol. I am not sure why security let them throw stuff in the first place. Oh well, it didn't ruin my time and as soon as I could focus again I was ok and luckily didn't have a black eye!

By the way Brad, I got hit in the eye during Hold on Loosely. It was a song I loved by them and couldn't wait to hear it. That moment got ruined. Lol!

Morning everyone. Its a cool 46 in London Ontario Canada at 7:02am. Its the day after Thanksgiving. Well For the first time in a LONG time I had Thanksgiving dinner ON Thanksgiving! When I got home from work we went over to my Wifes parents place. William had fun playing with his Grandparents and Aunt. He fed the fish in the pond and laughed at the dog and cat. We had a great dinner and relaxed after. We went home and watched a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Had a bad night with William because he is still a little sick and might be getting new teeth. Now I'm up here at work. I'm going to be cutting the lawn today, probably the last time for this season. I was listening to Christmas tunes on the way to work too! Well I guess I should go and do some work? haha. Hope everyone has a great day!

I've been gone on vacation since Thursday afternoon. We went to the Smoky Mountains and attended the Foothills Fall Festival in Maryville, TN. It was a BLAST! Lots of great southern rock with Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special, along with many other groups. Boy, we did a lot of riding, though. We stayed in Maggie Valley, NC and commuted to Maryville, about 2 hours away on Friday and Saturday. Sunday we went to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, about 1.5 hours away. Then a 6 hour trip home yesterday. But I loved every minute of it!

I have a lot of catch-up reading to do here. It's great to be back!

Tomorrow is my Birthday and I am off of work for that and also Thursday. I will work Friday and then have off until the 25th. My Mom is going to Arizona so I will be home watching the kids.

By the way, our cat and our dog never got along at all...at least that was what we thought.. and then our dog died and our cat was totally stressed out... the vet told us she had a trauma of loosing her friend so they might just cope with each other in a way that looks like they don't get along

It's a lovely day today... low 70s, sunny, etc. We went on a walk today to find "Halloween stuff" (my 2 year old's favorite game!) and it was just beautiful outside... down to the 60s tomorrow and 50s on Friday, yahoo!!

Off to go catch up.. I have 2 sleeping babies right now, which is rare, so I have to take advantage!!!

It has been a nice day at work. My co workers bought me an ice cream cake (my favorite) for my Birthday. I went over to BJ's on my lunch break and found battery operated lights. I bought 2 packs of them. They are 13 feet long and for indoor or outdoor use..and have a 8 hour timer. They sound really neat. I cant wait to get home and see how they look. I also bought my Christmas cards. They have little ornaments as a border and you slide your own 4 x 6 photo into it. They also have the ornaments on the outside of the envelope. I love them! One more thing off my list to do cheesy its also a beautiful day outside. In the low 70's and sunny. It will be feeling more fallish the next few days with temps in the 60's and even 50's and rain!

:hello: My last day of holidays, it's back to work tomorrow.

Today was a different sort of day. I am hosting a travelling elf from the Christmas Talk forums. If you'd have told me I'd be doing that six years ago, I would have thought you were crazy. Now I guess I'm nuts. It's fun!

I took her to the beach and the waterfront and later we'll go to the Falls and to the gym, I've got a few plans up my sleeve for our little adventure.

Talk about putting you in a Christmas frame of mind - haha. Her name is Elf Holly, I hosted her brother last summer and he became a fan of MCR rather quickly.

It is gorgeous out - the colors are awesome where I live. I am going to take the camera out in a few and enjoy what is left of the day as it is going to rain tomorrow.

The kid that try to steal my pumpkin walked by my house today on the way home from school with his brother and some friends. I decided to wave hi to them and the one boy told on his brother again and said he tried to steal the pumpkin. I asked does he want a pumpkin or just trying to be mean. He said he was being mean. The one trying to steal it kept walking with his head down. I told him that he could talk to me, I am not mad.

They turned the corner then they both came back and he said he didn't mean to do that and he is sorry. I forgave him and told him since he came back and talked to me that he could have the pumpkin and I gave it to him. (I cleaned it up first). I hope the kids don't get the idea that they can steal something then return to my house with an apology to get something. Lol!

I went on to tell him that if he tries to steal again, he might steal from the wrong person and they are not going to be as nice as me and they might call the police. I know that sounds extreme but kids sometimes move onto bigger things that require the police. I even told him that I do watch out my window and other neighbors watch out of theirs so don't try that again to me or anyone else. He said ok and thanked me for the pumpkin.

That sounds like fun! The closest beach from me is about 6 hours away.
