Morning! We've all been up since BEFORE 5am!!!! Noel woke up, so Jude thought it was time to wake up and then of course, the hubby and I had no choice but to get up, too! I think I will be lounging on the couch a LOT today, lol! I am exhausted... oh well! It's a rainy, yucky day so I can be lazy without guilt!

Noel was 2 months old yesterday! Time just goes too fast... and we are so close to Christmas! CRAZY!

Jude, I got up at 5 am also and no one woke me. I really needed more sleep knowing that the grandkids will be here around 7:30. I hope I hold up today! =)

ITS 81 degrees here 85 tomorrow.. what ahppened to Fall? Forst on the pumpkin.. more like sun block.....
Exactly the same here, Bing. Our high yesterday was 81 with an 85 predicted high for today.

With that, I will wish everyone a warm Good Morning!

Yes, the weather does not reflect our close proximity to the start of Christmas Season 2010, pending in under 2 1/2 weeks now:
Days to the Season: 17
Days to Christmas Day: 59
And our special series of pre-Season posts begins Nov. 8, barely 12 days away!
And let's throw in one more count:
Days to Halloween: 4
FOUR??
Yes, Friends, it's that close.

Overcast and blustery here this morning where we are already up to 74 degrees.
There is a stormy, unsettled feel outside and there was a tornado watch out for other NC counties last night.
I hope we don't get severe weather which is possible both today and tomorrow before we clear out for Friday.

Hey!
In light of this being the last Shispering Pines open house day before the 31st, Carl has created special Halloween-themed decorations for the Shispering Pines. Also, the fired twinkies are in special themed shapes and colors and there is a rumor floating about a coffee-pumpkin experimental blend being worked on. (Shudder!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
(Whether you dare to come to the 'Pines or not)

I am sooooo excited!!!!!! Hopefully will be finishing up my Christmas shopping this weekend!

Wow!!! That would be GREAT if you can finish by the weekend. Geez, I wish I could finish by the weekend. I am just trying to have most of it done by Thanksgiving. Well, have fun shopping!!!

Up BEFORE 5am!! LOL...welcome to MY World!! My daughter Kayla gets up everyday before 5am. She is like a little alarm clock. She can't seem to sleep past 5am. Even weekends!!! Last weekend she was up at 3am!!!! I blamed it on the full moon.......GEEZ!!! I can't believe Noel, is 2 months already!! Time does fly. Enjoy your lazy day!! Hopefully the boys will let you rest.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I woke up early this morning at 5:00 am to the sound of my neighbor's cats fighting under my house...at least I HOPE they were fighting. The last thing I need is a brood of kittens under my house. Grrrr.

Hot and humid again today, but as I was discussing with gabulldawg earlier, it's supposed to cool off for the weekend. **Crosses fingers***

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

Jude, I got up at 5 am also and no one woke me. I really needed more sleep knowing that the grandkids will be here around 7:30. I hope I hold up today! =)

Hang in there! Drink some coffee or have some chocolate!! :)

Jude is SUCH an early bird, too! "Sleeping in" in our house is 6:30... that never, ever happens! I feel your pain, lol! The early bird gets the worm... right?!? ha! Sometimes I am astounded by what we accomplish by 9am in our household, haha!

Looks like many of us had early mornings today! We have a yucky humid day today, too. I was actually sweating just doing my normal routine this morning. Blech!

Good morning,

I was sitting with LC this morning telling him there will be a Christmas tree in the corner in a few weeks and he says "get it, I want it" he is just so cute, when he is not a little devil. I will be taking our kitten Ophelia to the vet to prep her for her spaying, no more kittens for us. Rainy warm day on hand here, in the 70's and very humid, I thought we were done with this. But for Halloween we will be lucky to get out of the 40's.

Have a great Wednesday all my Christmas friends!

kandice and her friend are a handfull today...lol....now we are driving to store to find wallpaper for my mama s kitchen....we do that in two weeks

Bad storms rolled through last night and basically undid all the outside cleaning and decoration for Halloween we had previously done. So today is going to be trying to get it all back the way it should be. I believe there is chance for more of this junk before Friday though. Last year we got rained out as well. Also it appears that my front lawn is soaked and that may not bode well for me getting to decorate for Christmas this weekend. I was so looking forward to it.

Speaking of. Does anyone know how many connections of drop cords is safe to be plugged into one outlet? I feel like we haven't been safe the past few years and now I'm kinda freaked out.

soooooooo I have been SO SICK... on antibiotics and a puffer... dear lord I am not having an easy go this pregnancy BUT.. I am home for the 3rd day resting and I have read a bunch a magaizines and a few Christmas movies and started a gift list  so I am getting in the mood and starting to feel better

Good Morning friends,

Wow we are halfway through the week and survived through two big storms that came through. There seems to be a few tornado's that touched down around the area and most my family and friends had no issues. The only thing that happened at my house was the whole top of tree completly got ripped in half and now we have some really nice good firewood.

Good morning! Yes indeed - weather got pretty crazy yesterday! Still super windy today, but sunny! Cold front coming in tomorrow! I normally drink more coffee when the weather turns cold...I really don't need to drink more coffee! Lol!! But it's so good! :)

MerryNoel - hope you are feeling much better soon. I don't want to be sick, but watching Christmas movies, making lists & reading sounds fun! "enjoy" the down time the best you can!

Crown - I'm on my way to the pines!! See ya in a few! :D

If you mean drop cord plugged end-to-end (to make them longer), I don't like to use them for any length of time like that. Extension cords are designed considering the length of the cord and the gauge of the wire. The little white or brown cords are good for Christmas lights or lamps, but if more load is placed on the cord (saws, air compressors, LOTS of lights, etc), you should go for a heavier-duty cord.

If you mean plugging lights back-to-back into each other (as most Christmas light strings allow) and only using one outlet, I try not to exceed two per outlet, but this is just my own rule of thumb. You should get one of those mutli-outlet power strips, as they are designed for just that purpose.

I hope I don't sound like a know-it-all, 'cause I'm certainly not! cheesy
