soooooooo I have been SO SICK... on antibiotics and a puffer... dear lord I am not having an easy go this pregnancy BUT.. I am home for the 3rd day resting and I have read a bunch a magaizines and a few Christmas movies and started a gift list :dance: so I am getting in the mood and starting to feel better

There is nothing worse than having an awful cold!! Ugh! I shared a drink with my boyfriend and he told me he had "allergies" - well gee thanks. My nose feels raw. I'll be miserable passing out candy tomorrow to the trick or treaters!

Fun day did a lot of coloring with LC, and we went to Friendly's for dinner as a family, and then we went to Kmart to do some Christmas shopping but ended up (my wife & I) buying Halloween costumes, I am going to be a Ghostbuster and she is a Vampiress, the costumes were 50% off and no Christmas shopping got done. Kitten Ophelia is one healthy girl, she weighs 6.3lbs considering when we found her she was less than a pound, she has grown quite a bit in 5 months, while we were at the vet, they have a cat named Willy who lives there and he weighs 32lbs! Thats about how much LC weighs! He was massive, the vet assistant was trying to get him to jump, and he looked at her like you must be kidding me, I have never seen a cat so large before.

Good morning, Christmas family

It's been a while since I checked in. What a stressful day yesterday was !! While I am happy beyond words that we are finally getting a furnace, having it installed is not such a treat. First off I woke up at 4 a.m. because I just couldn't sleep with all the stuff on my mind. I had to start working at 6:30 anyway so I just got up. The furnace guys got here at like 9:00 a.m. and were here until 7:30 last evening and still have to finish up today. I don't mind at all as they seem very meticulous but what I do get upset about is that we both asked them to please close the doors behind them as we have kitties and pups and they STILL didn't listen ! I know they have a job to do but is it too much to ask for courteousness ?? Oh well. Nobody got out but it was STILL very stressful. Punkin', my sick kitty, is in the hospital right now receiving her IV bolus fluids which will hopefully take care of the problem. UGH ! I am so tired. If anyone needed a little Christmas, I sure could use a great big cupful about now !!

while we were at the vet, they have a cat named Willy who lives there and he weighs 32lbs!

I thought my vets cat was huge. He weighs 25 lbs.!

So sorry to hear Punkin is still sick. I hope she gets better soon!

How frustrating to worry your pets might escape while they do work. You might have to keep your pets in one room just until they get done with the work so you don't have the extra stress of them escaping. Even though they should keep the doors shut at least they won't be in your house too much longer. I usually keep my pets closed away in another room when I have any maintenance going on in my house.

This is my Friday! Kroger grocery store has a mini Halloween carnival every year. I have took my kids to it when they were little and now my grandkids. They set up games throughout the grocery store and the kids can win prizes, cakes and candy. It's free and we always have fun! I enjoy it as much as they do. We might go to it today.

The Carnival sounds so fun !! I hope you have a wonderful day !! Yes, my poor kitties were in a room by themselves for like 6 hours yesterday and I just had to let them out for a while but they will go back today when the workers arrive. I have an extra stressor this week as on my last audit I had only 97.6% accuracy and it has to be 98 to 99%. Never had this happen before. I have always been 99 to 100% on my audits. They are going to re-audit me tomorrow. Seems I did not do a heading like one of the doctor's said. I hope I pass !!! If I don't I don't even want to think about it !

And only 11 days until the special pre-Season posts begin.
(So much pending to celebrate!!)

Again overcast and quite warm for late October where we stand at 74 degrees with a strong threat of more rain.
(That should do it for a while, however, and the weekend is supposed to be dry, sunny and cooler.)

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

As Crown said, we in the southeast are still under clouds, and I hope we get some rain out of it. It's supposed to get up to 86° today, but in the 40's by Saturday morning!

My mom came home from her extended stay in the mountains Tuesday evening, so we went to her house last night to eat. We grilled burgers & hotdogs, and had a great time!

In other news, I've been trying to trade Nancy's car. Ugh. I hate dealing with that. Hopefully it'll be over by next week.

Getting ready for a busy/fun weekend. The youth at our Church are having a "progressive" dinner Friday night. They will visit a different home for each course of the meal. They come to our house for dessert. We are preparing for 10 youth ranging in ages from 13-16. The adults will share their Christian "testimony" with the kids along with food and games. It will be a full night for the kids since, here in the mountains, each home is several miles apart but it should be fun and help the adults connect with our youth.

Saturday night we have a fall festival at our school for the whole county, (we only have 1 school in our county). Sunday our Church is having a family night for the community. whew.... cheesy
