History: years ago, many of us met at Christmas.Com.. which had a site that was opened from August until the first of the year- then it collapsed and the forums would not reopen until late August. That entire site collpased with its forums and then we all found each other again at Mymerryxmas.com... - That site also collapsed and then we navigated here. At Christmas.Com Crown and I met by accident as we counted down the last hour to the season and from there, the tradition has continued. NEXT YEAR I will not schedule a trip around this date... I was determined to be a part of it...

I can't imagine waking up one morning and this site being gone. I was be SICK! Jeff, if you ever need anything, let me know.

Back from school, great supper ready when I got home! cheesy
A very chilly wind is blowing through, feels like snow!!!!!!

It is nice to be home with a mug of hot chocolate and catching up here.

Hasnt got out of the 60's here today. Last night it was 35 degrees. Not too bad. And Binger I used to go over to Christmas.com all the time, was never a member-just perused stuff.
This is actually the first holiday themed site I have ever joined. Only because there were actual people here who answered quicker than 20 days from the date of the post. Real people with real ideas and not some cookie cutter stuff.

Well I spent my day finishing some much needed mending of things and then i felt tired so I took a long nap. Nothing like being up under some warm blankets and a comforter to make the day just right.

went to turn on my furnace and it sounds like a combine!! I am thinking that is not a good thing.:-?
It is getting chilly, but not to bad in the house. Called the landlord, no answer yet. Hopefully he gets over here in the morning.

The bonfire sounds like so much fun. I haven't been to one in a looong time. Home Alone 2 is fun to watch, so you had a good time anyway!!!

OY ! What a day. Lots of technical problems which was at the employer's end. Server problems. Wound up tying the same 3 jobs multiple times. I worked about 12 hours just trying to make my line count and still didn't make it !! I am exhausted. I hope you have all had a good day !!
