Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! The heat wave is over here in central Indy and now we are back to our normal temps for this time of year. I need to get some cleaning done today since I have neglected it all weekend. I am also thinking about starting to wrap my christmas gifts. On the Santa front I have managed to put 18 smaller ones out so far and mom not say anything. I may push my luck a little today and put out a couple of bigger ones. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOing to be baking cookies this coming weekend and I have job orientation this THursday so if I am MIA for a few days it is because I will be working, but I will be in during the weekend for sure.

I am taking a break from cleaning and re-arranging Christmas decorations. I so far listened Dean Martin, Elvis and various other artist Christmas songs and played A Christmas Carol on tv while I got some things done around the house.

There are a few that I haven't taken pictures of yet but that was most of them. Once I get decorated I will take pictures so everyone can see them all out.

Good afternoon Christmas family !

Today is going a lot better than yesterday did ! I was able to work my regular hours with no problems from the employer's server and get my lines. I personally feel that since I was on for my 5 hours yesterday that my company needs to compensate me. After all, support did not call me until 4 hours after my shift ended to fix the problem. Oh well. One Magic Christmas is on Hallmark right now !! I really liked this movie when it came out 25 years ago. Where does the time go ??!!

Well, I had a pretty good weekend. I watched Christmas movies on Hallmark channel all day Saturday. I had the house to myself until late afternoon. DD & I wrapped some gifts for her teachers too. Sunday, I copied all the Christmas coloring pages for my Sunday School class, so I'm ready to go with that for the month of December.

Saturday is our North Pole Express train ride. Every Saturday is full up from now until NYE!

Good Afternoon Christmas Pals,

I had trouble getting on MMC today too. Message about Server is busy and try again later. But, I am glad to see us all together again!!

I can't believe I missed the countdown to the start of the season. I tried my best to stay awake Friday night to see it come in. But, I faded into slumber pretty fast. But my heart was here with you all. Saturday morning I got up and read the posts leading up midnight. I kinda had tears in my eyes as I read all of the excitement in the posts. It is truly something only true Christmas fanatics can appreciate. A common bond we all share and that is one of the main reasons we all come here.

So, I haven't had time to catch up on recent posts. I hope everyone is doing well, and everyone is able to enjoy the season and be in full christmas mode. My tree and outside lights went up this weekend so I am TICKLED about that. Yep, I got nasty looks from neighbors and people driving by. But I didn't care. I know they don't understand my love of the holiday season. Well, it's really begining to look and feel a lot like Christmas to me. I hope everyone is having a Merry Monday!!!

[Classic Christmas]

We've been playing Christmas music since Nov 1. Haven't watched any Christmas movies/shows/specials yet. That happens on the day after Thanksgiving, when we put up the tree during the day, and get comfy with a glass of wine or mug of hot chocolate (choose your poison) at night, and watch "The Muppet's Christmas Carol" to really kick-off the Christmas season. We've been doing it for years now, and all of us can practically recite every line in the movie!

It's the simple pleasures that are worth the most, isn't it?

You can really feel the season inching closer!

My tree and outside lights went up this weekend so I am TICKLED about that. Yep, I got nasty looks from neighbors and people driving by.

Have I ever mentioned before that I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR?!?! :-D

Just got back from taking a walk with the dog while listening to the "99 Essential christmas Masterpieces" I downloaded from Amazon over the weekend. It was starting to get dark & I couldn't help but think about how it won't be long & the houses will all be lit up with Christmas lights! :sparkle:
