Well my daughter had a nother cheerleading competition yesterday and their squad took 1st Place in their division!!!! We are so proud of them. They have their last competition of this season today.
Congratulations!!!
Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

The girlie-girlie birthday party for my daughter was a smash! All the little girls had their hair and nails done, then they went back to my mother-in-law's restaurant for a catered meal. Then they danced till 10pm. She had the best time in the world!

Yesterday we had the family party for her at lunch. We had pizza and birthday cake...nice combo! It was also Nancy and my anniversary. We went out a few weeks ago to celebrate that. Since our daughter was born on our anniversary, we've not been able to celebrate on that day, but what a great anniversary present we got 10 years ago!

Now I gotta rouse the family for church. I hope you all have a great day! cheesy
Sounds like everyone had a blast.

Happy Anniversary!

We did not finish decorating the yard yesterday. We got up a lot of lights but some of our yard decor lights were out.

I don't understand how you can pack up everything from last year that is working in perfect condition, then unpack it all the next year and suddenly a lot of the lights are mysteriously not working!

I don't know what is up with weather.com but their forecast comes nowhere close to what my local weather on our news stations predicts. Weather.com predicts our area for Wednesday being a high of 78 degrees and the local weather says the high will be 58 and rainy with north winds blowing. I will take our local forecast!

Good morning, friends. Already up and at it! I'm actually at the new house as we speak...type....agh, whatever. Going to get busy, but I will check in throughout the day. I hope you have a great Sunday wherever you are!

******* CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #9 *******

GOOD MORNING

33 days????

Do you realize how fast those days will go?
34 actually, but who's counting?
<< We are, Crown. >>
Oh, right!

Days to Thanksgiving Day: 4 (Wow! Barely over half a week! Just WOW!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 34 (UNDER 5 weeks, now!)
Hey! We're getting so close to Thanksgiving I can almost taste the turkey and hear the parade music!
We have really moved along this year. Faster and faster, it seems.
(I'm glad I've got most of my Christmas shopping done!)

Chilly but calm and sunny here in the capital city where we stand at 43 degrees at this hour.

Curses! Spent a couple of hours raking and sweeping at my father's house Friday then drove over Saturday afternoon and the place was completely covered again after strong overnight winds.
Oh well, another opportunity for some much needed exercise.

You have a Super Sunday, Friends.
Tomorrow, we move into the week of Thanksgiving, Black Friday and (hopefully for most) a glorious 4 day weekend in the heart of the Christmas Season.
(It doesn't get much better than that, Folks!)

Morning!!! Had a great time at our parade yesterday...Noel and I missed Santa (went home early - sooo cold out!) but my hubby said Jude was sooo excited to see him on the firetruck!
Some pics:

Noel is hiding there... I had him in a wrap and he was snug as a bug! See his head? :)

I hate the moving part, but I love getting settled in and finding space for all our things! Good luck as you continue this "journey"!

OK, Made....I haven't got to check any of the NASCAR news in the past few days. Give me any scoops that are important for tomorrow.

I think we have one more good day of work and the move will be 100% done. All items are moved and now we are in the placing things around the house phase....which seems to take quite a bit of time.

See everyone tomorrow!

Thanks for sharing these priceless times!!!

Good Morning....
Hey Jeff I hope you got the snow you were wishing for!!!!

Well my daughter had a nother cheerleading competition yesterday and their squad took 1st Place in their division!!!! We are so proud of them. They have their last competition of this season today.

We got the new christmas blow up for the yard yesterday and last night the kids put up and decorated their christmas tree in their bedroom. When my hubby plugged it in our 4 yr old son started jumping up and down, clapping his hands saying it's Christmas Time with the biggest grin on his face. It was priceless!

Got to go get ready soon... Have a great day!

Wow! That girlie-girl party sounds wonderful. Even I would have liked it! Maybe I can get my husband to do that for me!

Sounds like alot of fun to be had all over. I absolutely adore this time of year. Just when it is getting really cool/cold. The perfect weather for hot tea, nog, soup, and sharing a nice.warm.soft blanket with a loved one. Judesmama he is so precious. I would love to have a little one or four running around here but unfortunately that is not going to happen until we get the fostering/adoption process started. THat will not be anytime soon but it will come soon enough.
Well my surgery/resin fills is tomorrow at 2pm and although I am not looking forward to it, it does need done or I am gunna lose some of my teeth. AH well.
I have decided to put up my outside deco on Friday because I will have all weekend off.
It is a little nippy here today but supposed to warm up into the 60's/ low 70's.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.:treeguy:

Hoooray!!! I emailed my uncle yesterday about an outside outlet and he showed up today and is putting it in as I type this!!!!! Now I can't WAIT for my outdoor lights!!!

We could never put up outside lights because we were in the city and kids always messed with them (I decorated my windows from inside).
Yippieee!

Anyone around for chat tonight?

YABBA.. OHHH JAYISH....

The move has officially started. We took our first piece over to the new house tonight.

It was a Christmas decoration and it's on the mantle!

Good to hear that your festive heart was in the right place. :tree:

Wayne and I have been talking about Black Friday for several months now. We are excited about the free Christmas shows to see at the mall that day. It has been a tradition for 4 years now.

Wellllll.... My boss calls me yesterday and asked if I could come in that Friday. My heart stopped! I told him we have had plans for that day for months (actually since Black Friday last year) but at the same time I felt bad because they don't demand much from me. He immediately said, "no worries"! He told me to have fun and enjoy the day. I can't help but feel bad for telling him that but I really LOVE that day! It's "almost" as big as Christmas for us! He reassured me not to worry. He then realized it's Black Friday and we might not get much business anyway. It's a feed store, not a Target or Toys R Us! cheesy

I'm glad it worked out for you, but I couldn't handle those crowds I see on the news every year.

hmm working on an opera.. need to get this aria worked out=- oh JAYISH>>>>>>>>

YABAB!

All I could think of was when I read that was YABBA!

And Brad, I'm glad the party was a hit and Happy Anniversary to you and the lovely Nancy.
