Well Jimmie Johnson's crew is not helping him at all today. Maybe switching pit crews with Gordon wasn't that great of an idea after all. Junior is running back in his normal spot of 30th. :-?
I'm hoping Jimmie can pull it off. I don't really want him to win a 5th championship but he is better than Hamlin.
The most important sporting event of the day is still to come though. COLTS VS PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!

Ok since Crown and I both live in NC (i think). THe weather hasnt been that cold. been in the 60's and 70's. I will however not be surprised once those temps do drop during the day. If the old adage is right... I saw two caterpillars about a month ago that were solid colors, this means a COLD winter. I seriously doubt we will see much precip, but if we do it will be welcome; at least here in the sandhills.
My husband and I are probably the only ones who get out on Black Friday and not shop. We NEVER get up in the middle of the night to stand in lines for anything. Not worth it to me, I need sleep! cheesy
We get started about 9:30 am, head to the mall and walk around to watch the music entertainment and ice skating show they do each year. It is never really that crowded either. People do crowd around to see the show but that's about it. Santa ice skates as well and it's great! This will be our 4th year to go. We might hit 2 malls this year because they plan to have some entertainment there too!

It was in the 50's during most of our Christmas parade yesterday morning.
Reached about 60 by the afternoon. No rain.
Just finished watching the Toronto Santa Claus parade on TV (my darling daughter taped it for me while I was at school) It was a great parade as usual!

My husband and I did our grocery shopping yesterday for Thanksgiving. We spent about $160.00, but that included things we only get around the holidays. Since we spent over $50.00, our turkey was 38 cents a pound. It ended up costing $6.62!!! What a deal, eh?
