Happy Wednesday all! I swear time is going backwards today. haha it seems like I have been at work forever but it hasn't been 2 hours yet. lol. All my American friends ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow? Being from Canada we had ours in October. If I had it my way Id celebrate BOTH. More turkey for me haha. We are all doing well. Santa Claus parade is running behind our house this Saturday! The Lions Club is putting that on. Anyone else here in London Ontario Canada going to that? Would be nice to meet some of you in person!

I'm SO excited for Thanksgiving! I think it'd be weird having it October haha, too early for me...

Just a month left to go until Christmas now.
She had mentioned on here that she has been very busy and haven't had much time to come on here to post. Hopefully all is well and she will have time to come visit.
I guess it's just the nature of friendships created on the internet to come and go. I've lost track of several old friends in the past.
There are several others missing who were very visible here for a while, like Christmasheart, HoosierChristmas, etc. I wish them all well, and hope they retun soon!
Also, Annette. She hasn't been on here since June, I think and never posted anything that I know of.
I don't think MsChristmas will be gone long, just busy. cheesy
ChristmasHeart is going through a lot so hopefully all will calm down so she can return.

Hey all! Hope you are going great! Busy as a bee here...and starting to get tired. Might lay down and take a little nap in a few.

I generally throw a ball for one of the dogs (usually the hairy one), he loses his footing and slides across the floor (think Bambi on ice!)
Works a treat!!!;-)
When we were kids, Mother would let us skate across the floor in our socks. We thought it was a wonderful sport!

We have nothing but wood floors! We use a vacuum and bucket and mop. Might try a swiffer wet jet and see how that works.

I volunteer to help older people able to live the way they want... that includes cleaning... I almost always try to make them get swiffer, it always works... I am really fond of this product!
so i would highly recommend it!

hi all!
lovely weekend ahead, the christmas tree in our local village is being lit up by santa so we'll be heading up to see that, and i'm also taking my daughter to get her pictures taken in a christmas setting for the front of my family christmas cards.
on a very sad note, a lady that my sister knows very well passed away today, she was only 35 and had 2 daughters (6 and 3 years old) she had that horrible, evil disease (cancer) and by all accounts was a wonderful woman and a fantastic mother. apparantly her babies don't know yet and her grandmother and grandfather are going to sit them down and explain as best as they can tomorrow.
i'm crying as i write this, it's just so cruel, so close to christmas. i know i'm going to thank my lucky stars tonight that i'm here and healthy and that my beautiful daughter has a mummy to spend this christmas with.
no matter how stressful things get, financially or whatever in the run up to christmas, let's all count our blessings and enjoy every second with our families and make this christmas the most amazing one yet. x

Johnor, so sorry to hear. My prayers are with her family and friends.
How sad. I will keep her family in my prayers AND thank my "lucky stars" for all the wonderful blessings I have in my life ox
