I feel like I am coming down with something now, sore throat, run down, just blah. The weatherheads are talking about a possible nor'easter for Sunday, we may just get our white Christmas after all, I better get the shovel ready. !

maybe get loads of fruit, you don't want to get ill now! hope you feel better soon! hope you do get to have a white Christmas!!

What a great day it is going to be -- it is daughter #5's 13th birthday today, our great Christmas present of 1997. Tonight we get to go see David Archuleta in concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square for their annual Christmas concert. Michael York is the narrator this year and we've got 12 of us going, including my parents.

It's a little warmer here today, mid 50's and a little rainy. The kids are out at noon today for Christmas holiday. I'm meeting my mom, with Nancy & the kids for lunch today, so I'm looking forward to that!

Two weeks, no school!

Hope everyone is having a great, I didn't have time to go out to enjoy the snow... luckily a lot more snow is predicted, so hopefully I will have time to enjoy it, maybe even a 'white Christmas', but not too white, or we won't be 'driving home for Christmas', and being stuck here without food would be a 'cold, cold Christmas' (and maybe even result in a 'blue Christmas'), no that wouldn't be good at all

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! We are getting some snow showers here this morning. It looks like it is going to be just enough to cover the sidewalks again. My cold seems to have gotten worse after spending most of the day outside yesterday shoveling snow. So today my plan is to stay inside and try to make sure I take the cold medicine on time. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok Jeff... I left a message and I sound like an absolutel DORK. LOL!! And after all those years of taking public speaking courses and doing so well, I really went brainfart when I heard the beep. SO EVERYONE forgive the dorky message I left for you all. LOL!! I cant wait to hear the podcast. I need a link as soon as it is up.

Today dawned kind of chilly and didn't get any warmer. I finished ALL my gifty shopping yesterday but still have food shopping to do. I sent out a package to my neice and the other package to my sister is going out tomorrow (AFTER HAVING PACKED AND REPACKED IT like 12 times.) HAHA!! Guess what? I saw what I thought was an elf yesterday peeking at me from behind A Kmart shelf, I swear he was writing in a notebook. I had a feeling I was being watched and I turn around and BANG there he is. I was shocked. I told him I have been relatively good this year and I hoped he wasn't writing me up for anything. Turns out it was a person doing observations on things bought and who they are bought by. I felt so stupid. He got a kick out of it and told me it was all in good humor but he said he was sorry he wasn't an elf.

Mr. HJ informed me that we might be getting a nasty mix of icy weather tonight. I sure hope not because I have to go out tomorrow and I do not want to tear up my car. It is a pretty red mustang and it goes with the season. I am putting green ribbon on it next year and making it look like a gift. LOL!!!

Well Christmas Kookies (including myself) I am off here for a bit and CONGRATS on 15,000. Lets try for 15500 by Christmas.

Good afternoon, Christmas family -

Very Christmassy here today !! It is just cold enough with snow flurries !! Not too much snow, just right !! The Christmas Eve magic is beginning to make itself evident !!!!! I did absolutely nothing today which is a rarity for me. I was off work so I just have been a "couch potato" all day, listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas stuff !!

Back to work Sunday and then Christmas Eve at the end of the week next week !! Where did the time go ? Have a great weekend everyone ! cheesy

wow, miss a few hours and posts pile up quickly here.

I will read them all later when my head is not hurting so much. I got quite a bang on the head today at skid school, bled like crazy, have a huge goose egg (no stitches, but close) and now still have a headache.

Other than that, skid school was the most terrifying day of my life, but I sure learned a lot! Nothing like purposely putting a 70 foot truck into a spin on a pad of ice. Got to learn how to recover from that and how to keep the truck from jackknifing and how to steer around obstacles. I will be able to handle situations more calmly having already practiced.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is doing well and getting even more excited about the anticipation of Christmas day.

I've been listening to a radio station in Ireland that plays Christmas music (www.christmasfm.ie). Considering I live in the US, I find it amusing that I'm listening to the same Christmas music as other people celebrating Christmas half a world away.
