Good morning, Christmas Family. Well, another New Year's Eve. I have no big plans today or this evening. No parties to go to so I am just staying home with my "furchildren". We will watch the ball drop together and then I will give each of them a kiss on the top of the head and wish them Happy New Year !!

I can't tell you how much all of you mean to me and how much this site means. You and this site have all been life savers to me. Of course, a new year scares me but on we must go !! As long as we go on together the rough spots will be smoother I am sure !

Have a happy and safe celebration this evening everyone !!

:tree::give:

Crown.. remember the days when we use to have Christmas.com shut down from January to August?

YABBAW
Indeed I do.
(Wouldn't that play havoc with our count number if it happened here!)

Good Morning (or should I say Good Mourning?)

Yes, at the stroke of midnight, Eastern Standard Time, our "Christmas Countdown - 2010" thread will come to a quiet end, just like the old year.
But out of the ashes, like the phoenix, will arise a new one, bigger and better than ever!
Jeff has thrown out the suggestion that we set 20,000 as the post goal for next year. Wow! That will require an almost 55 posts per day average. Tough!
Are we up to it? (We will soon find out. But if anyone can be, this fantastic group is.)

Well, the last day of 2010 has started out above freezing here in Raleigh for the first time in I can't remember when. Well back in December, anyway.
Nice and sunny too with the promise of mid-50's for the high and mid 60's tomorrow for a nice warm start to 2011.
We currently stand at 35.

OK, Everyone!
Special New Year's Eve bash at the Shispering Pines this evening.
Don't miss the frivolity, champagne, and Carl singing Auld Lang Syne with one of those pointed, sparkly caps on each hump. (shudder)

Have a Fabulous Friday, Folks.
And an Exciting Eve of both the Weekend and the New Year!

Good morning,

Well we made it through another year, and unfortunately New Year's is my least favorite holiday, I think I am getting a little of the "blues" at this point. We will be having one last Christmas party tomorrow with my family. My wife and I went to go see Little Fockers last night and the theater would not let us use our Gift Certificates that we had, because it was within the first two weeks of opening, we were disappointed, but we went to the mall, my wife had a number gift cards to use and then we went to dinner. So it all worked out in the end.
If I am not able to get on later on I will wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Good New Year's Eve, everyone! It is a freezing, sunny day here in northern California. On a somewhat sad note, my husband had to take our cat to the vet. We came home yesterday from my daughter's, fed the cat, and realized she seemed listless. She did not eat this morning and stayed on our bed. She is 14, but I don't think she would have become listless so quickly just because of age. I am praying that our baby is okay! Caninemom3, I know how you feel, especially since your Punkin looks exactly like our sweet thing.

Welcome FRIDAY! Why is the song welcome Christmas from the Grinch that Stole Christmas? haha. Well this is the last day of 2010! The year has gone by so fast. Our Son will soon be 2 in March! Ill be 32 in March. Time keeps on moving but doesnt slow down. I hope everyone has a good new years. I probably be lurking around on the forums tonight. My Wife and I are tired and are not in the mood to party tonight so we are staying home (as most of us are anyways!) She will be a sleep when the ball drops and I will probably turn it on for a bit. This Christmas was a good one. Topped the Christmas where I tossed out my Wifes cookies that she baked! LOL I never told you all about that. A few years ago on Christmas eve..... (wavy flashback).... hah.... My Wife did a ton of baking. Christmas morning I was packing the car and She bagged the cookies in containers at the front door. I THOUGHT it was garbage so I tossed it.....whoops! After we got to Windsor my Wife asked where the cookies were. I realized I tossed them. She was angry and didnt really talk to me for a few hours. LOL. We can laugh about it now though! Have a great day!

Thanks, Caninemom3. I KNEW you would understand. I will have to post some pictures of her so you can see she could have been Punkin's twin!

Yeah, we got jobs. Of course you know how lazy we school teachers are: Three months' paid vacation in the summer, holidays off with time to spare, maybe even some holidays that aren't celebrated everywhere (Arbor Day, remember that?), getting paid big bucks to work 8-3. You know all the stories!

Can't believe we will be counting down to NEXT CHRISTMAS tomorrow!!! Hooray!
51 weeks until Christmas Eve! :)

Hi every one,
Sorry I get to catch up so little. Still don't know the results of my exam, but we are signing our house-buying-contract tonight! :) So after today, we can finally start counting down not only to Christmas 2011, but also to our house being done. Hopefully we can live in there next Christmas!!

I want to thank all of you, who have counted down with me, who have supported me through these days of joy, stress and holiday cheer! :D I am really gratefull for the friends I have made in this countdown thread!!

Have a very happy New Year!

Happy New Years Eve Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!! It is a warm day here with the temp currently at 57 degrees. That is a big change from the 20's that we have had for the last month. The cold air is returning on sunday though. I have spent the morning cleaning and baking for my party tonight. Now I am thinking about taking a quick nap before everyone gets here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I hope your cat gets well. I know how scary it can be.

My little chihuahua refused breakfast yesterday and it worried me very much. She NEVER refuses breakfast. Both my dogs eat breakfast with me every day. I fix them eggs every morning. No, they don't sit at the table, just eat on the floor next to me. Lol! Later in the day I finally got her to eat some yogurt and her appetite picked up and she is doing well today.

I hope your little one gets energy and starts eating.
