hey my friends...got my dad to the hospital yesterday....he has troubles breathin all the time....it is no asthma....they cant pin-point it....now he caught some type of bug that made it all worse....here I am asking for some prayers for my dad....sometimes I think he wont be alive to turn 60....and that will be in 2012...it is scary with him....he used to be an alcoholic....is clean since 2005....and that is when all of that started...before that, there were no health issues....somehow I think it is partly psychological after he stopped drinking.....that he maybe realized what he has done during his drinking time.....again.....please pray for my father
Hey all! Well I was due to go back to work yesterday but have been feeling so ill, I feel like I have been hit by a bus and my throat is really painful when i swallow
Just really hope the kids dont catch it, If it makes me feel this bad I cant imagine how it would make them feel. Mum bless her brought us all up some beef stew she had made, The little bit i managed was lovely, shame I just couldnt eat any more of it!

Louanne, Wayne and I thought of you when we saw this Santa at the Arboretum a couple of weeks ago.
The high temperature will be 74 today and should be in the mid 20's by Sunday. Typical Texas winter weather!
When we went to Arboretum a couple of weeks ago. The house on the property was decorated with Santa's. They had a lot of Santas. My favorite is the one on the horse. Here are a few pictures.

Good Morning, Folks.
Sad. We are so near the end of 2010 and lockdown for this thread.
What a run it has been!
But Saturday morning starts an all new one which promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Again below freezing here where we are currently at 29 but headed to top out near 50 by this afternoon.
Then possibly SIXTIES by the weekend with lows actually above freezing for the first time in ages.
That will sure be nice!
Well, you have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
It's New Year's Eve tomorrow, you know!!

Don't be sad Crown! A new countdown starts VERY SOON! I cant wait for that. Its Thursday already? Where has the time gone? I have been enjoying my ipod touch that I got for Christmas. It will come in handy for taking Christmas pictures at the store. I feel a little strange when I whip out a camera to take a picture at a store. haha. Anyone here get an ipod touch? Yes it is sad that it will soon be lockdown time for the 2010 thread. I have so enjoyed reading these posts almost everyday and getting a small glimpse of how all my Christmasy friends live their lives.
2010 Has been a year of ups and downs for alot of us and even though most of us are sad to see it go, I will be looking back at it with fondness and hope that the lessons I learned this year will carry over into 2011. We all still have each other on here and I hope we will continue doing as we do in our daily passings. I think of everyone at some time or other during my daily goings and comings and every thought is a good, warm, and fuzzy one. You all have made this year a bit easier, espeically when I needed a cheerful pick up. The Podcast greetings is on a disk now and I will listen to it off and on in the coming year and I will have a really good one for next year IF Jeff and the crew decide to do it again, which would be lovely.
Our 2010 Christmas went wonderfully. We had a grea time with hubby's family and I hope they had as much of a time with us.
2011 is on it's way and so far I know I will still be working, as will hubby. We are getting another vehicle because our work schedules do NOT mesh in order for us to only have one car. So yea. I am also working on quitting bad habits, started most of the quitting of those bad habits WEEKS ago and so far I am succeeding so HOPEFULLY *crosses fingers* I will be done with majority by the FIRST of 2011.
Well all my Christmas Crazies *myself included* I bid you all a good day and hopefully this coming year will hold lots of surprises and wonderful memories for each of you.
