Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good afternoon,

Just relaxing today, watching the extra cheezy A Very Brady Christmas, but who cares its Christmas. Not much on the docket for today finally put all the gifts that were under the tree in their respective places. I hope everyone is enjoying Christmas week, working or not.

Merry 5th day of Christmas!
 
I hope everyone is enjoying his/her day. My husband is repairing a big leak in our storeroom wall. He also found where we could have a problem with the bathroom wall, so he is quite busy today. Thank goodness he can do the work himself as he is quite handy. We have to drive to Chico to take his mom to the doctor, then we head out tomorrow to visit my daughter. We went over to school to deliver some boxes to give some of my teacher resources to other teachers. I am exhausted and it is only 12:23 p.m. I guess I will stop for some lunch and then get ready for Chico. Have a good afternoon.

What a great tradition! I am sure the afternoon would be just as good. Of course you could join us here and we could pop open a virtual something!!! I think it will really be fun. I am not going anywhere. I think I will be visiting my daughter tomorrow to take her some of my teacher stuff that she can use. She works for a group that teaches mentally challenged adults. I have lots of colored dice, games, and worksheets she can use.

:hello: I saw the mailman today for the first time since Dec. 24th and naturally I gave him the countdown to Christmas 2011. He still managed to smile. I love that guy! Think he should grow a beard, dye it gray and wear a suit of red when he delivers next year, but I'm guessing there are rules about having to wear his postal uniform. :-?
 
WOW, in the 36 hours since my last post you guys have post 118 times! I am disappointed I missed the turnover to 16000, I knew you would get to it before the years end!

Good Evening MMC !

We had a great time in Niagara Falls! Our room overlooked the falls, we spent 2 days enjoying a huge indoor water park, arcades, an illusionist show, Christmas lights by the mile, comfy beds with down comforters, a lovely fireplace. I watched horse drawn buggies take people on rides around the park, waved at a 4' tall hershey kiss walking around by the Hard Rock Cafe. Bet $5 at the casino and won $13.92. Hugged an old friend and went down a water slide...by myself.
It was a fantastic mini holiday!

I have news... Soon I will proudly display a new title under my name and a picture beside it - yay! I'm so excited! Someone (who I would REALLY like to name, but don't know if she wants me to) gave me a gift of a 3 month (can you believe it?!) Platinum Membership to the club! WOW! Thank you for this fabulous christmas present!

I will be gone most of the day tomorrow, but I will return late in the evening. I can hardly wait for the New Year countdown. We can sort of relax because we have met our goal. Now we need to go about reaching another goal for the next Countdown. Maybe we could set milestones along the way!!
