I was going to log on & post that I can't believe it's all over!!! But what am I thinking...it's only just begun!!!! (still not looking forward to "back to the grind tomorrow" though!) I have the after Christmas blues!!! But what a fun, fun Holiday season.... :smile:

Tried to go to bed, can't sleep yet to many things floating in the noggin. There have been quite a few posts since I last was on a few hours ago, I guess we will be going after 20,000 head on, I will help as much as I can.

Just relishing these last few hours of my vacation, still seeing a few Christmas commercials on TV, and watched a few more Christmas movies today, I always have a hard time letting go of the season.

They didn't have to wait until the final seconds to win it but I am happy with another 10 win season and 9 consecutive years in the playoffs. Now bring on the Jets!!!!!!!!

I had 1779 post in the Christmas 2010 thread. That's not enough, gotta get busy this year.

I had 2720 and I was a slacker for most of december. This year I will aim for 3000.

Back to work today as usual. Not so bad. The Christmas blues are continuing but not as bad as last year yet. That won't happen 'til I take down the tree at close to the end of this month. I am not planning anything much today. Hallmark Channel is showing Christmas movies the rest of today. I just watched the end of A Carol Christmas and then all of Moonlight and Mistletoe. Later on there is a good one called The Santa Suit. I caught the end of it one morning over the weekend and it seemed really good.

hope your Christmas blues doesn't last to long and you will be looking forward again watching Christmas movies sounds like a good plan, maybe I'll be doing that this afternoon... hope you are well!!

HEY To all who voted in the mascot competition for ODU and BIG BLUE- thank you ( I know Seawaters you did- Thank you!) My school won the National title and a nice hefty scholarship goes to the college.

Today Wayne and I will officially become deacons in our church. We were selected a few months ago and today is the day we get the role. I am a little nervous since we will be in charge of communion and collecting the offering. I get a little "stage fright" doing things like that but I am sure once I am in the role of it I will be fine. I think Wayne is comfortable with it since he teaches Sunday School from time to time and have read scripture to the congregation but keep me in thoughts and prayer that I do well.

I am sure you will do well but i'll keep you in thoughts of course

I really liked your explanation of your lifestyle change, I think it's a great decision and I'm really proud of you that you can keep up with that! Yay you indeed Your vegetable patch idea is a very good idea as well, I think it can also teach your grandchildren a lot, as lots of children know nothing about where their food comes from *at least: here in the Netherlands they don't*

The days betwee Christmas and New-Year I have been spending at my in-laws, because we had a lot of things to do and to arrange for our house, but I didn't think it would be appropriate to be on the internet all the time, so I didn't manage to come on earlier, I'm sorry I missed that start, but I will certainly make that up
